WS-C3650-12X48UR-E identifies a Catalyst 3650 configuration: WS-C3650 is the family, 12X identifies the 12 multigigabit downlinks, 48 is the total copper downlink count, UR identifies the eight-10G-uplink configuration, and E selects IP Services. The other 36 copper downlinks provide Gigabit Ethernet connectivity.
WS-C3650-12X48UR-E supports CLI management through its console, Telnet, SSH, and browser access, plus SNMP monitoring and Cisco Prime Infrastructure integration. SSH and cryptographic SNMPv3 require the appropriate cryptographic image. Establish the intended administration method and authentication configuration before putting a replacement unit into service.
