WS-C3650-24PD-E identifies a Catalyst 3650 switch: WS-C3650 is the family, 24 denotes 24 copper ports, P denotes PoE+, D denotes the two-10G uplink configuration, and E denotes IP Services. The hardware also includes two 1G SFP uplinks; stacking is optional rather than an included operating configuration.

WS-C3650-24PD-E provides a 390W shared PoE budget with its standard PWR-C2-640WAC supply and supports 30W per powered port. Supplying 24 × 30W requires 720W, so the standard configuration cannot deliver that load simultaneously. Full-port PoE+ requires one PWR-C2-1025WAC or two PWR-C2-640WAC supplies.
WS-C3650-24PD-E has two 10G SFP+ uplinks and two 1G SFP uplinks built into the chassis. The SFP+ interfaces also support Gigabit operation, allowing four 1G uplinks with compatible SFPs. Uplinks are not added through a removable network module; specify optics for the intended link speed and fiber type.
StackWise-160 on the Catalyst 3650 uses C3650-STACK-KIT= adapters and STACK-T2-50CM=, STACK-T2-1M= or STACK-T2-3M= cables. A stack supports nine members at 160 Gbps. Confirm adapter installation before ordering cables, and match the software tier: LAN Base, IP Base and IP Services members cannot be mixed in one stack.
The Catalyst 3650 IP Services tier supports full OSPF, EIGRP, BGPv4 and IS-ISv4, plus OSPFv3 and EIGRPv6 for IPv6 routing. Multicast options include PIM-SM and PIM-DM. The 24000-entry IPv4 total includes ARP and learned routes, so address-resolution entries and learned routes share that overall hardware scale.
WS-C3650-24PD-E ships with one PWR-C2-640WAC supply and supports an optional second internal supply, not standard dual-supply redundancy. WS-C3650-24PD-E-RF is Cisco's remanufactured PID, not ORM Systems' certified refurbished condition for the base WS-C3650-24PD-E. The two origins are not interchangeable.
