The HP StoreEasy 1430 8TB SATA Storage (SKU: B7D89A) is a 1U rack-mount network-attached storage appliance delivering eight terabytes of raw SATA capacity for small-to-medium business file sharing, backup and archiving.
Key features include eight terabytes of SATA storage, four hot-plug drive bays, integrated Windows Storage Server, HP Smart Array RAID support, dual Gigabit Ethernet and simplified remote management.
The system ships with four 2 TB SATA 3.5-inch hot-plug drives for a total of eight terabytes of raw capacity, configurable in RAID 0, 1, 5 or 10 for performance or redundancy.
The appliance comes preinstalled with Microsoft Windows Storage Server 2008 R2 Essentials, providing native CIFS/SMB, NFS and iSCSI support.
