CAB-STACK-1M-NH is the Cisco StackWise 1M Non-Halogen Lead Free Stacking Cable, a 1 m StackWise Plus stack cable for Catalyst 3750-X switches with 64 Gbps of stack bandwidth. Nonhalogen lead-free construction is the edge over CAB-STACK-1M. Match it to the rear StackWise ports. This Cisco Catalyst 3750-X stack cable connects the two StackWise ports on each switch and keeps user ports free. A full ring gives redundant StackWise cable connections, a single IP address and one command-line interface for the stack. Catalyst 3750-X LAN Base switches stack only with other Catalyst 3750-X LAN Base switches; IP Base and IP Services must not be mixed with LAN Base. Catalyst 3560-X switches do not data-stack with this cable.

64 Gbps of stack bandwidth applies to a full StackWise Plus ring on Catalyst 3750-X. Up to nine switches form one logical unit, and each member joins in any combination of 10/100/1000 models within the family. One bad link drops the data stack to half bandwidth and removes redundant connections; a second break partitions the stack. CAB-STACK-1M-NH uses a copper-based StackWise cable path between the two rear stack connectors. 1 m reach fits side-by-side mounting where 0.5 m is short, while 3 m covers separated rack positions. Add or remove a switch with power off, then check the Stack LEDs for green stack-port status.
CAB-STACK-1M-NH comes new sealed or certified refurbished. Certified refurbished cables are inspected and bench-tested between two compatible switches; connectors, pins, latches and housing inspected and stack link up at the rated bandwidth. Cisco service ended on 30 April 2022, so ORM's warranty is the cover that applies. Order one per switch for a full ring and confirm 1 m reach. The buyer maintains Catalyst 3750-X stacks after Cisco service ended on 30 April 2022. A spare cable should match the rear StackWise ports, the 1 m reach and the nonhalogen requirement before the PO. A nine-member full ring needs nine data stack cables.
A stack showing amber Stack LEDs or half-bandwidth operation needs the failed StackWise link isolated before replacement. CAB-STACK-1M-NH replaces the 1 m nonhalogen link between two rear stack connectors. Count one cable per failed link and keep every full-ring member cabled.
The buyer adding the last link in a Catalyst 3750-X stack needs a cable long enough to return the ring to the first switch. A full ring provides redundant connections; a half ring has no redundant connection. Count one data stack cable for each member before the PO.

CAB marks a cable, STACK marks StackWise, 1M marks the 1 m length, and NH marks nonhalogen material. The cable carries StackWise Plus traffic at 64 Gbps in a full Catalyst 3750-X ring.
CAB-STACK-1M-NH fits Catalyst 3750-X switches with rear StackWise ports. Catalyst 3560-X models in the same switch generation are standalone and do not data-stack with this cable. Catalyst 3750-X LAN Base switches stack only with other Catalyst 3750-X LAN Base switches, not IP Base or IP Services members.
A Catalyst 3750-X uses Cisco StackWise cables for data stacking: CAB-STACK-50CM, CAB-STACK-1M, CAB-STACK-3M, CAB-STACK-50CM-NH, CAB-STACK-1M-NH and CAB-STACK-3M-NH. CAB-STACK-1M-NH is the 1 m nonhalogen lead-free option. StackPower uses CAB-SPWR-30CM or CAB-SPWR-150CM, which do not carry data.
CAB-STACK-1M-NH provides 64 Gbps of StackWise Plus bandwidth in a full Catalyst 3750-X ring. The stack operates as one logical unit with one IP address and one command-line interface. An incomplete ring runs at half bandwidth and has no redundant StackWise cable connection.
A full-ring Catalyst 3750-X stack needs one CAB-STACK-1M-NH per member when 1 m reach is correct. A three-switch full ring needs three cables. A chain uses one fewer cable than the member count, but the chain has no redundant connection.
CAB-STACK-1M-NH stacks as many as 9 Catalyst 3750-X switches in one StackWise Plus logical unit. A full ring gives 64 Gbps and redundant StackWise cable connections. A bad cable leaves half bandwidth; another break partitions the stack into two stacks.
Install CAB-STACK-1M-NH between the rear StackWise connectors on two Catalyst 3750-X switches. Power off a switch before adding it to or removing it from an existing stack. Align the cable window, tighten the retainer screws to 5 lbf-in, and check green Stack LEDs.
CAB-STACK-1M-NH is the 1 m nonhalogen lead-free StackWise cable, and CAB-STACK-3M-NH is the 3 m nonhalogen lead-free StackWise cable. Both fit Catalyst 3750-X rear StackWise ports. Use the 1 m cable for side-by-side switches and the 3 m cable for longer rack paths.
CAB-STACK-1M-NH adds nonhalogen lead-free material to the 1 m StackWise cable, while CAB-STACK-1M is the standard 1 m StackWise cable. Both fit Catalyst 3750-X rear StackWise ports. Choose CAB-STACK-1M-NH when the cabling requirement calls for nonhalogen material.
CAB-STACK-1M-NH is 1 m long, and CAB-STACK-50CM-NH is 0.5 m long. Both are nonhalogen lead-free StackWise cables for Catalyst 3750-X rear StackWise ports. Use the 0.5 m cable for adjacent vertical switches and the 1 m cable for side-by-side mounting.
Cisco stopped selling CAB-STACK-1M-NH on 30 April 2017. Cisco service ended on 30 April 2022 for the Catalyst 2960 and 3750 Series switch accessories affected by the same end-of-life action. No replacement PID was named for CAB-STACK-1M-NH, and the hardware milestone has passed.
