CBS110-24PP combines fanless operation with unmanaged Layer 2 switching for small-business networks. The refreshed model provides 24 dedicated 10/100/1000 RJ-45 access ports, including 12 PoE ports, plus two fixed 1G combo uplinks that accept either copper connections or SFP transceivers. Its full-width 1U chassis fits a rack, and partial PoE supports compatible IP phones, access points and other powered endpoints without making every access connection a powered port. The Cisco Business 110 Series operates without configuration, with automatic port speed and duplex selection rather than administrator-defined settings. CBS110-24T is the nearest non-PoE sibling for endpoints that use separate power supplies. CBS110-24PP identifies the Cisco Business 110 unmanaged family, with 24 denoting its port-size designation and PP indicating partial PoE. Refreshed hardware has 24 dedicated copper access ports plus two combo connections. Regional order IDs add a suffix, such as -NA for the United States, rather than changing the base model name.
Business 110 switches operate without configuration, automatically selecting port speed and duplex and handling traffic through built-in switching functions. CBS110-24PP follows that unmanaged design. Connect compatible endpoints and the network uplink, then apply AC power; commissioning relies on the automatic behavior rather than an administrator creating a switch configuration.
Cisco has not announced an end-of-sale date for Business 110. CBS110-24PP remains in the available-to-order family. The discontinued SG110-24HP models have separate milestones, so their dates do not establish retirement dates for CBS110-24PP. Use the complete regional part number when arranging replacement stock and reviewing support requirements.
ORM Systems offers CBS110-24PP new sealed or certified refurbished. New orders carry up to a 3-year extended warranty; certified refurbished orders carry up to 1 year. Every condition has 30-day returns; terms apply. Cisco's separate hardware warranty is limited lifetime, while ORM's refurbishment includes inspection and bench testing.
