CBS110-24T is a fanless, unmanaged Layer 2 desktop switch whose refreshed configuration provides 24 dedicated Gigabit copper access ports and two fixed Gigabit combo uplinks. Each uplink pairs an RJ-45 connection with an SFP slot, with one medium active at a time. The non-PoE configuration connects independently powered computers and other Ethernet devices rather than supplying endpoint power. Within the Cisco Business 110 Series, the fixed uplink architecture supports copper or fiber connections without a removable network card. CBS110-24PP is the closest powered sibling, adding 12 PoE ports with a shared 100W budget. 48 Gbps switching capacity provides the switching fabric for the Gigabit interfaces, while 35.7 Mpps forwarding is rated with 64-byte packets. An 8000-entry MAC table accommodates learned Ethernet destinations, and a dynamically shared 2 Mbit packet buffer handles traffic across the ports. CBS110-24T carries 64 MB of DRAM and 8 MB of flash for its embedded hardware functions. Four hardware queues support priority queuing and Weighted Round-Robin traffic handling; automatic QoS prioritizes delay-sensitive voice and video. Loop detection identifies accidental network loops, while cable diagnostics help identify shorts and other cable faults. Automatic MDI/MDI-X and speed negotiation accommodate copper connections without configuration. The internal AC input accepts 100–240V, and the 17.79W maximum draw at 110V supports electrical-load planning without adding endpoint power. Operation from 0°C to 50°C sets the ambient-temperature requirement. Store-and-forward switching checks packets for damage before passing them onward.

When a purchase replaces discontinued SG110-24-NA, SG112-24-NA or SF112-24-NA hardware, CBS110-24T is the named migration target for those regional models. Their end-of-sale date was October 30, 2021. Identify the existing part number and destination market, then specify the corresponding replacement ordering variant before the PO.

Uplinks faster than Gigabit
CBS110-24T's built-in copper and SFP uplink connections are limited to 1G. An SFP transceiver changes the medium, not the supported uplink speed.
Independently active copper and fiber uplinks
Each CBS110-24T combo connection activates either its copper interface or its SFP interface, not both. Two shared connections cannot operate as four independent uplinks.

CBS110 identifies the Business 110 family, and 24T selects the non-PoE Gigabit copper configuration of CBS110-24T. Two fixed combo uplinks combine copper and SFP connection choices. Regional suffixes specify the destination market; CBS110-24T-NA is the North American ordering variant, including the United States.
The Business 110 series operates without configuration, with switching features running automatically rather than through administrator setup. Ports select their speed and duplex mode independently. Automatic QoS, loop detection and cable diagnostics handle traffic priority and basic link troubleshooting; power and link/activity LEDs provide local operating indications.
Cisco has not announced an end-of-sale date for Business 110. CBS110-24T replaces older switches whose end-of-sale notices apply to those older PIDs, not the replacement. For example, SF110-24-NA ended sales on January 29, 2023, with support ending January 31, 2028.

CBS110-24T hardware versions differ in copper port count: older units have 22 dedicated Gigabit ports plus two combo ports, while refreshed units have 24 dedicated ports plus two combo ports. CBS110-24T-NA V04 identifies refreshed North American hardware. Specify the version when ordering refurbished or mixed-age stock.
CBS110-24T supports two fixed 1G combo uplinks; each selects copper or SFP, not both simultaneously. Compatible transceivers include MGBSX1 for multimode fiber to 500 m, MGBLX1 for single-mode fiber to 10 km, MGBLH1 for single-mode fiber to 40 km and MGBT1 for copper to 100 m.
CBS110-24T uses an internal 100–240V AC power supply and does not require an external adapter. Its worst-case draw is 17.79W at 110V and 17.49W at 220V. The power cord is included with the device; confirm that the ordered package includes the cord for its destination.
