CBS220-24T-4G operates at Layer 2, so inter-VLAN routing requires a separate routing device. New sealed and certified refurbished CBS220-24T-4G units are offered; refurbished units are inspected and bench-tested for power-on and POST, clean boot, rated-speed links on every port and optics bay recognition. CBS220-24T-4G identifies a Cisco Business 220 switch with 24 copper Gigabit ports and four Gigabit SFP uplinks. CBS220 denotes the series, 24T denotes the non-PoE copper configuration, and 4G denotes the uplinks. United States orders use the complete regional PID CBS220-24T-4G-NA.
Cisco Business 220 supports browser management, CLI over SSH or Telnet, Cisco Business Dashboard, the Cisco Business mobile app and SNMP. For staging, choose the access method before configuring the device, define administrator access and preserve a configuration record with the order.
Cisco has not announced an end-of-sale date for Business 220. CBS220-24T-4G must not be confused with the discontinued earlier Cisco 220 switches, whose end-of-sale milestone was July 30, 2022. Check the full PID before treating an older retirement date as applicable.
