CBS350-48T-4X-EU combines 48 Gigabit Ethernet access ports with four fixed 10G SFP+ uplinks in a rack-mount chassis. This non-PoE member of the Cisco Business 350 Series serves small-business networks connecting independently powered equipment. The discontinued CBS350-48P-4X-EU adds PoE+ for installations that supply endpoint power through Ethernet. The fixed uplink arrangement removes the need to select a removable uplink card, while keeping the optical connection separate from the copper access connections. For an existing installation, the distinction between endpoint connectivity and endpoint power is the main configuration check before selecting this variant.
CBS350-48T-4X-EU price for new stock is $1,718.58, a 29.7% saving from the Cisco list price of $2,445.98. CBS350-48T-4X-EU refurb price is $2,088.03. CBS350-48T-4X-EU is in stock and available for next-day dispatch. (terms applied)

176 Gbps switching capacity and 130.94 Mpps forwarding support nonblocking packet forwarding. CBS350-48T-4X-EU carries 512 MB of DRAM, 256 MB of flash, and a shared 3 MB packet buffer. Static routing, RIP v2, and PBR provide local routing functions; RIP v2 requires firmware 3.1 or later. Enabling IP routing allows RIP to advertise routes rather than only learn received updates. Administrators can inspect the IPv4 forwarding table to distinguish directly connected, static, and dynamically learned routes. Route selection uses the longest matching prefix, so overlapping route entries require deliberate next-hop configuration rather than simply adding another default route.
Order CBS350-48T-4X-EU new sealed or certified refurbished, specifying condition and required optical connections on the purchase order. Certified refurbished units are inspected and bench-tested for power-on and POST, every port linking at rated speed, clean boot, optics bay recognition, PSU status, and fan status; firmware is verified and configuration wiped to factory default. ORM provides up to 3-year extended warranty on new units, up to 1 year on certified refurbished units, and 30-day returns on every condition; terms apply. For enterprise and volume orders, PO is accepted, government buyers receive Net-30, and RMA includes advance replacement, with regional stock/RMA coverage across UK, EU, US, and MEA.

An installation retaining discontinued SG350X-48-K9-EU or SG550X-48-K9-EU hardware may need a replacement unit before a wider refresh. This model follows both older parts in their migration paths, but replacement status does not establish identical configuration behavior. Compare the existing configuration and connected equipment before specifying the spare.
An existing stack needs another member only after its firmware and available interconnect ports have been checked. Members must run the same firmware version, and at least two 10G ports on each participating switch must be assigned to stacking. Reserve those connections and specify the interconnects before issuing the purchase order.
A rollout using RIP needs an addressing plan before staging begins. RIP can be enabled only on manually configured IP interfaces, not interfaces using a DHCP-assigned or default IP address. Record the intended interface addresses, routing participation, and advertisement settings in the staging requirements before ordering the deployment batch.
Ethernet power for connected endpoints
The copper access ports do not supply PoE. C1300-48P-4X is the current migration option for the corresponding powered configuration, retaining 48 Gigabit ports and four 10G SFP+ connections.
Uplinks faster than 10G
The fixed SFP+ connections support a maximum 10G link speed. A requirement for a faster individual uplink exceeds this model's connection capabilities.

CBS350-48T-4X-EU identifies a Business 350 managed switch with 48 non-PoE Gigabit copper ports, four 10G SFP+ connections, and an EU regional suffix. CBS350 identifies the family, 48T identifies the access configuration, and 4X identifies the four faster connections. EU covers multiple countries, not only European Union destinations.
CBS350-48T-4X-EU supports browser management, a console CLI, SSH, Telnet, SNMP, Cisco Business Dashboard, and the Cisco Business mobile app. Browser access supports HTTP and HTTPS. The embedded Dashboard probe supports centralized administration, while the Cisco Network Plug and Play agent provides an additional provisioning path for device rollout.
Yes, CBS350-48T-4X-EU reached end of sale on October 29, 2024, and its replacement is C1300-48T-4X. Software maintenance and vulnerability support ended October 29, 2025. The last date of applicable support is October 31, 2029, so the remaining hardware-support period does not imply continuing software maintenance.
ORM offers CBS350-48T-4X-EU new sealed with up to 3-year extended warranty or certified refurbished with up to 1 year; Cisco's enhanced limited lifetime warranty ends October 31, 2029. Returns cover 30 days on every condition; terms apply. Refurbished units are inspected and bench-tested, with firmware verified and configuration wiped to factory default.
No, CBS350-48T-4X-EU requires neither a separately purchased license nor a subscription for its switch features. There is no feature-tier selection or minimum subscription term to add to the hardware order. This applies to operating the switch and should not be confused with purchasing an optional support contract.
CBS350-48T-4X-EU replaces SG350X-48-K9-EU and SG550X-48-K9-EU, whose end-of-sale dates were October 30, 2021, and July 30, 2022, respectively. Both older parts are discontinued. CBS350-48T-4X-EU is also discontinued, so a purchase intended for a current-generation refresh should follow the migration chain onward to C1300-48T-4X.
Supported Cisco Business 350 models form hardware stacks of four members, including CBS350-48T-4X-EU. At least two 10G ports per member must be configured for stacking, and members must run matching firmware. Legacy SG-series switches cannot join the stack; reserve the interconnect ports before allocating the remaining connections to network traffic.
The Cisco Business 350 Series supports static routing, RIP v2, and PBR, with RIP v2 requiring firmware 3.1 or later. RIP must be enabled globally and on participating interfaces. Disabling RIP globally removes its configuration, so routing changes should distinguish between disabling the feature and temporarily shutting down its operation.
CBS350-48P-4X-EU supplies PoE+ to endpoints, whereas CBS350-48T-4X-EU does not supply Ethernet power. Both configurations have 48 Gigabit access ports and four 10G SFP+ connections. Both are discontinued: the T configuration suits independently powered equipment, while the P configuration suits installations requiring switch-supplied endpoint power.
CBS350-48T-4X-EU provides four 10G SFP+ connections, while CBS350-48T-4G-EU provides four 1G SFP connections. Both have 48 Gigabit copper access ports without PoE, and both are discontinued. Existing installations needing 10G connections match the 4X configuration; installations retaining 1G optical connections match the 4G configuration.
CBS350-48T-4X-EU is discontinued, while C1300-48T-4X is its current replacement in the Catalyst 1300 family. The migration retains the basic configuration of 48 Gigabit ports and four 10G SFP+ connections. The older model addresses existing-installation replacement needs; the successor is the appropriate starting point for a new refresh purchase.
