The MSA 1040 accepts up to 24 LFF drives for a raw capacity range of 0.5 TB to 384 TB; usable capacity depends on RAID configuration.
This array supports 3.5″ LFF SAS HDDs (7.2K/10K/15K RPM) and SSDs (SAS SLC/MLC) certified by HPE.
The remanufactured MSA 1040 provides two 8-Gb FC ports; additional ports can be added via optional FC controllers.
