The HPE MSA 2050 is a 2U dual-controller, 12Gb SAS external storage array supporting small form factor (SFF) drives for medium-scale deployments.
The MSA 2050 delivers dual-active 12Gb SAS controllers, up to 32 GB cache, automated tiering, snapshots, and simplified management to boost performance and availability.
It supports 2.5-inch SAS HDDs, nearline SAS HDDs and SAS/SATA SSDs in SFF bays, with drive capacities up to 3.84 TB each.
When fully populated with 24 enclosures of 12 SFF drives each, the MSA 2050 delivers up to 1.1 PB of raw storage capacity.
