The HPE MSA 2050 SAN DC Power LFF Storage is a dual-controller, entry-level SAN array designed for DC-powered data centers. It delivers 12 Gb/s SAS performance, advanced flash optimization and enterprise-grade reliability in a large-form-factor chassis.
The MSA 2050 supports industry-standard iSCSI (10 GbE), Fibre Channel (16 Gb/s) and SAS (12 Gb/s) host protocols, allowing flexible connectivity to Windows, Linux and virtualization platforms.
The system accommodates up to 24 large-form-factor (3.5″) drives per array, including HDD, SSD and self-encrypting drives, with individual capacities up to 14 TB for a maximum raw capacity of 336 TB.
Yes. You can attach up to four additional MSA 2050 expansion enclosures (LFF or SFF), scaling raw capacity up to 1.68 PB and supporting mixed drive types for tiered storage.
