Optimized for flash, the MSA 2040 delivers up to 250,000 IOPS and 8 GB/sec throughput with sub-milliseconds latency to accelerate databases, virtual machines, and high-transaction workloads.
The MSA 2040 supports 12 Gb/s SAS for back-end drive connectivity and offers host ports in 16 Gb Fibre Channel or 10 Gb iSCSI, enabling flexible SAN integration.
Starting with two controllers and eight SSDs, the array scales up to 48 drives (12 TB max raw per drive), delivering over 576 TB of raw flash capacity in a single enclosure.
