The Lenovo ThinkSystem RAID 930-16i (SKU:7Y37A01085) is a 12 Gb/s PCIe SAS RAID adapter with 16 internal ports and 4 GB of flash-backed write cache, designed for enterprise storage performance and reliability.
The RAID 930-16i is validated for Lenovo ThinkSystem SR, ST, and SD series servers and selected ThinkSystem blade enclosures supporting PCIe 3.0 slots.
It supports SAS and SATA HDDs/SSDs up to 12 Gb/s and NVMe drives via host-initiated passthrough when used with Lenovo NVMe-ready bays.
It includes 4 GB of flash-backed cache (FBWC) to safeguard write data in case of power loss and accelerate random writes.
