The Lenovo 7Y37A01090 RAID 430-8e is a ThinkSystem 12Gb SAS/SATA Host Bus Adapter (HBA) designed for high-throughput storage connectivity in enterprise servers.
The RAID 430-8e HBA is fully compatible with Lenovo ThinkSystem SR630, SR650, SR655 and other 2U/1U servers that support PCIe 3.0 adapter slots.
This HBA supports up to 12Gb/s per SAS or SATA lane, delivering aggregated throughput of up to 96Gb/s over eight ports.
The adapter features eight external Mini-SAS HD (SFF-8644) ports, enabling connection to up to 256 SAS or SATA drives with expanders.
