SG350X-24-K9-EU combines 24 Gigabit access ports with four fixed 10G uplinks in a managed Layer 2+ switch for small-business networks. Two uplinks offer copper/SFP+ combo connections, while two provide dedicated SFP+ connections; each combo connection uses one medium at a time. The full-width 1U chassis belongs to the Cisco 350X Series Stackable Managed Switches and connects endpoints that receive power independently. Unlike management-only grouping, true horizontal stacking unifies the data, control and management planes across four members. The discontinued SG350X-24P-K9-EU adds powered access ports where endpoint power delivery is required. This non-PoE configuration instead separates network connectivity from endpoint power, keeping the purchase focused on data connections, link media and the intended stack arrangement.

128 Gbps switching capacity provides nonblocking switching across the installed interfaces. 95.23 Mpps forwarding applies to 64-byte packets, giving a separate packet-processing figure for traffic sizing. Static IPv4 routing supports 990 routes and 128 IP interfaces, while IPv6 static routing supports 245 routes and 106 interfaces; routing is static rather than dynamic. SG350X-24-K9-EU carries 512 MB of memory and 256 MB of flash for its embedded software and configuration. A shared 1.5 MB packet buffer serves traffic across the ports, and the address table accommodates 16000 MAC entries. Browser access, a scriptable full CLI and SNMP provide distinct configuration and monitoring methods. STP, RSTP and MSTP control switching loops, while LACP assembles links into aggregation groups. The 24-port Gigabit stackable switch also supports traffic mirroring for packet analysis without requiring a separate monitoring interface on every endpoint.
SG350X-24-K9-EU is available new sealed or certified refurbished; refurbished units are inspected and bench-tested for power-on and POST, rated-speed port links, clean boot, optics bay recognition, PSU status and fan status, with firmware verified and configuration wiped to factory default. Specify condition and accessory PIDs on the purchase order; ORM warranties are up to a 3-year extended term for new units and up to 1 year for certified refurbished units, with 30-day returns on every condition, terms apply. Cisco's separate limited lifetime hardware warranty is bounded by the October 31, 2026 last support date. Enterprise and volume orders support PO acceptance, Net-30 for government and RMA with advance replacement, with regional stock/RMA across the UK, EU, US and MEA.

When a branch rollout reuses installed copper cabling, cable category becomes a purchasing constraint rather than an accessory detail. Category 6a supports copper uplink runs to 100 m. Identify installed cable categories, measured distances and required patch leads before specifying the connection media on the purchase order.
When a replacement needs preparation before a maintenance window, dual firmware images provide separate image locations for staging. The front-panel USB Type A connection supports file and image handling. Define the intended software image, configuration-restoration procedure and acceptance checks before ordering the replacement unit.
When departmental networks are consolidated onto one managed device, segmentation and filtering counts need checking separately from physical connection requirements. SG350X hardware supports 4094 active VLANs and 1000 ACL entries. Confirm the required VLAN inventory and access-control rule count before setting the purchase-order quantity.
Endpoint power over Ethernet
SG350X-24-K9-EU supplies no endpoint power. C1300-24P-4X is the current 24-port powered alternative reached through the replacement chain for the discontinued PoE sibling.
Fanless operation in occupied rooms
SG350X-24-K9-EU uses one fan and is not fanless. A requirement for passive cooling excludes this model, even when its connection count otherwise fits.
Cisco support beyond October 2026
Cisco support for SG350X-24-K9-EU ends October 31, 2026. C1300-24T-4X is the current successor; the intermediate CBS350-24T-4X-EU is also discontinued.

SG350X-24-K9-EU identifies a 24-port Gigabit stackable managed switch with 10G uplinks and an EU regional ordering suffix. S identifies a switch, G means Gigabit, 350 identifies the series, X denotes 10G uplinks, 24 identifies the access-port count, and K9 denotes high-encryption support. EU identifies the regional power-plug variant.
SG350X-24-K9-EU supports an HTTP/HTTPS web interface, full or menu CLI through the console, SSH or Telnet, and SNMP versions 1, 2c and 3. Network-level integrations include Smart Network Application, Cisco FindIT Network Manager with an embedded FindIT Network Probe, and Active Advisor. Select management access before restoring the configuration.
SG350X-24-K9-EU is discontinued: end of sale was October 30, 2021, and Cisco support ends October 31, 2026. Software maintenance ended October 30, 2022. CBS350-24T-4X-EU was the intermediate replacement and is also discontinued; the current replacement chain ends at C1300-24T-4X.
SG350X-24-K9-EU is offered new sealed or certified refurbished. ORM provides up to a 3-year extended warranty on new units, up to 1 year on certified refurbished units, and 30-day returns on every condition; terms apply. Cisco's separate limited lifetime hardware warranty is bounded by its last support date, October 31, 2026.
SG350X-24-K9-EU replaces the discontinued SF550X-24-K9-EU, whose end-of-sale date was June 18, 2020. The older model provides 24 Fast Ethernet access ports, while the replacement provides 24 Gigabit access ports. For a current-generation purchase rather than a legacy replacement, the forward replacement chain reaches C1300-24T-4X.
SG350X-24-K9-EU provides four fixed 10G uplink interfaces: two dedicated SFP+ connections and two copper/SFP+ combo connections. Each combo interface activates either its copper connection or its optical connection, not both simultaneously. Specify the intended media and compatible optics or cables rather than ordering an uplink expansion card.
Cisco 350X true horizontal stacking supports four members managed as one system. Compatible hybrid stacks can contain SG350X, SG350XG and SX350X models. Stacking uses 10G interfaces, so inter-switch connections consume interfaces otherwise available for Ethernet links. Specify the intended topology and matching connection media before ordering additional members.
The Cisco 350X switch supports static routing between VLANs, with 990 IPv4 static routes and 128 IP interfaces. IPv6 static routing supports 245 routes and 106 interfaces. These are static-routing capabilities rather than a dynamic-routing feature set, so confirm the required route inventory and change process before selecting the switch.
SG350X-24-K9-EU uses an internal universal AC power supply accepting 100-240V AC. Its maximum system consumption is 32.6W, and the switch does not deliver PoE to endpoints. Specify the regional power connection and account for independently powered endpoint equipment when preparing the electrical and hardware purchase requirements.
SG350X-24P-K9-EU provides 24 powered access ports and a shared 195W PoE budget, whereas SG350X-24-K9-EU provides no endpoint power. Both models are discontinued. The non-PoE model suits independently powered equipment; the powered sibling addresses legacy installations needing endpoint power, subject to the shared budget.
SG350X-48-K9-EU provides 48 Gigabit access ports, compared with 24 on SG350X-24-K9-EU. Both are discontinued non-PoE models. The smaller model suits a lower connection count, while the larger sibling addresses legacy installations requiring more access connections in one chassis; determine the endpoint count before choosing between them.
C1300-24T-4X provides four 10G SFP+ uplinks, while SG350X-24-K9-EU combines two dedicated SFP+ uplinks with two copper/SFP+ combo uplinks. C1300-24T-4X is the current successor reached through the discontinued CBS350 replacement. The older model suits legacy matching; the successor suits a current purchase standardized on SFP+ uplinks.
