SG350X-48P-K9 combines 48 Gigabit PoE+ access ports with fixed 10G uplinks in a managed Layer 2+ switch for SMB networks. Two dedicated SFP+ interfaces sit alongside two 10GBASE-T/SFP+ combo interfaces, with copper or fiber active on each combo connection, never both simultaneously. The 1U chassis belongs to the Cisco 350X Series Stackable Managed Switches and supplies network connectivity and endpoint power for IP phones, wireless access points and surveillance cameras. Eight access ports also support 60W PoE within the shared power allocation. The discontinued SG350X-48MP-K9-NA sibling carries a larger endpoint power budget. This 48-port Gigabit PoE+ access switch uses built-in uplinks rather than a removable expansion card, so uplink media selection concerns cabling and transceivers, not a network module.
SG350X-48P-K9 price for new stock is $2,094.75, a 50% saving from the Cisco list price of $4,189.50. SG350X-48P-K9 refurb price is $299.25. SG350X-48P-K9 is in stock and available for next-day dispatch. (terms applied)

176 Gbps switching capacity supports nonblocking forwarding across the access and uplink interfaces. 130.94 Mpps forwarding defines the packet-rate capacity for 64-byte traffic. 382W of shared PoE power requires allocation across connected endpoints rather than assuming every powered port can supply its individual maximum simultaneously. Static IPv4 and IPv6 routing supports local communication between subnets without dynamic route exchange. SG350X-48P-K9 carries 512 MB of memory and 256 MB of flash for its operating software and configuration. The forwarding resources accommodate 16000 MAC addresses and 990 IPv4 static routes, while STP, RSTP, MSTP and LACP provide loop control and link aggregation. Browser management, command-line access and SNMP support configuration and monitoring workflows. Hardware stacking joins four members into one managed system through front-panel interconnects. 492.3W worst-case consumption including PoE provides the maximum input-power figure for electrical planning. Three fans cool the internal power supply and switching hardware during operation.
Specify SG350X-48P-K9 as new sealed or certified refurbished, and include required optics and the regional ordering variant on the PO. Certified refurbished units are inspected and bench-tested, with PoE output verified under load on every powered port, firmware verified and configuration wiped to factory default. ORM warranties provide up to a 3-year extended term for new units or up to 1 year for certified refurbished units; both conditions include 30-day returns, terms apply. For enterprise and volume purchasing, specify quantities and delivery region: PO accepted, Net-30 for government, RMA with advance replacement, and regional stock/RMA handling across UK / EU / US / MEA.

When an installed 350X stack needs another member, compatibility depends on the existing SG350X, SG350XG or SX350X mix and the interconnect layout. Ring and chain topologies are supported, with master and backup stack control. Record existing member models and reserve the required front-panel connections before the PO.
When a branch needs local addressing services across multiple network segments, the switch can operate as an IPv4 DHCP server with multiple pools and scopes. Configuration supports 128 IP interfaces, including physical ports, link aggregation groups and VLAN interfaces. Specify the interface plan, address pools and relay requirements before ordering.
When a replacement unit must be validated before joining an installed network, dual software images support staging an alternate firmware image. Port mirroring can direct traffic from eight source ports to one destination for analysis. Specify the intended image, configuration file and traffic-validation procedure before releasing the spare purchase order.
Maximum PoE+ draw across every port
The 382W shared budget cannot power all 48 access ports at 30W simultaneously. Endpoint loads must fit the aggregate allocation, even where individual ports support higher output.
Multigigabit speeds on endpoint connections
The 48 access ports operate at 10/100/1000 speeds, not 2.5G or 5G. The 10G uplinks do not increase the native speed of connected access endpoints.
Dynamic route exchange between network segments
SG350X-48P-K9 provides static IPv4 and IPv6 routing rather than dynamic routing. Networks requiring automatically learned routes need a separate routing device or a different switch.

SG350X-48P-K9 identifies the Gigabit 350X stackable managed model: SG350X names the model family, 48 identifies the access-port count and P identifies the PoE configuration. Regional ordering adds a country suffix; SG350X-48P-K9-NA is the complete United States PID. The configuration includes fixed 10G uplinks.
SG350X-48P-K9 offers HTTP/HTTPS web management, console and SSH/Telnet CLI, plus SNMP 1/2c/3. The 350X management options also include Smart Network Application, Cisco FindIT Network Manager, embedded FindIT Network Probe, FindIT Network Discovery Utility and Active Advisor. Full and menu CLI modes support interactive configuration and scripting.
SG350X-48P-K9 reached end of sale on October 30, 2021, with applicable Cisco support ending October 31, 2026. Software maintenance ended October 30, 2022. The original CBS350-48P-4X-NA replacement is also discontinued; C1300-48P-4X is the current model at the end of the replacement chain.
ORM Systems offers SG350X-48P-K9 new sealed or certified refurbished, with up to a 3-year extended warranty on new units and up to 1 year on refurbished units. Returns cover 30 days on either condition; terms apply. Cisco's separate limited lifetime warranty is bounded by its October 31, 2026 last support date.
SG350X-48P-K9 provides a shared 382W PoE budget across 48 powered access ports, including eight ports supporting 60W PoE. Other powered ports support 30W maximum output. These per-port limits remain subject to the shared allocation, so endpoint power requirements must be totaled before assigning ports.
SG350X-48P-K9 provides two dedicated 10G SFP+ uplinks and two 10GBASE-T/SFP+ combo uplinks, with one medium active per combo port. SFP-10G-SR= supports multimode fiber and SFP-10G-LR= supports single-mode fiber. Transceivers are ordered separately; specify the fiber path and required reach when selecting optics.
Cisco 350X hardware stacking supports four members managed as one system, including mixed SG350X, SG350XG and SX350X models. Supported copper interconnect options include SFP-H10GB-CU1M=, SFP-H10GB-CU3M= and SFP-H10GB-CU5M=. Stacking uses front-panel 10G connections, so the interconnect plan must account for connections reserved for uplinks.
Yes, SG350X-48P-K9 supports static IPv4 and IPv6 routing between configured network interfaces, making its capability Layer 2+ rather than dynamic Layer 3 routing. IPv4 capacity includes 990 static routes and 128 IP interfaces. IPv6 capacity includes 245 static routes and 106 IPv6 interfaces.
The Cisco SG350X-48P is a full-width 1U rack-mount switch measuring 440 mm wide, 44 mm high and 350 mm deep, with a weight of 5.82 kg. A mounting kit is included in the base package. Three fans provide active cooling, so installation planning must accommodate ventilation.
SG350X-48P-K9 is a replacement for the discontinued SF550X-48P-K9-NA, moving its 48 access connections from 10/100 Ethernet to Gigabit Ethernet. SF550X-48P-K9-NA reached end of sale June 18, 2020. SG350X-48P-K9 is also discontinued; C1300-48P-4X is the current endpoint of its replacement chain.
SG350X-48MP-K9-NA provides a 740W PoE budget, while SG350X-48P-K9 provides 382W across its powered access ports. Both models are discontinued. For matching legacy configurations, SG350X-48P-K9 covers lower aggregate power allocations, whereas SG350X-48MP-K9-NA corresponds to installations requiring more shared endpoint power.
SG350X-48P-K9 provides 48 Gigabit PoE+ access ports, while SG350X-24P-K9-NA provides 24 Gigabit PoE+ access ports. Both models are discontinued. The 48-port model matches denser legacy endpoint layouts; the 24-port model matches smaller installed configurations where fewer access connections are required.
C1300-48P-4X has four 10G SFP+ uplinks; SG350X-48P-K9 has two dedicated SFP+ uplinks plus two 10GBASE-T/SFP+ combo uplinks. C1300-48P-4X is the current successor after the discontinued CBS350-48P-4X-NA. New purchases following that chain use C1300-48P-4X; legacy copper-uplink matching remains an SG350X-48P-K9 consideration.
