The SRX300 hardware-only is a compact security gateway offering eight Gigabit Ethernet ports, two SFP uplinks, 4 GB RAM and 8 GB flash storage. It requires a separate SRX300-JSB or SRX300-JSE system board to run Junos OS.
You must install either the SRX300-JSB (Standard) or SRX300-JSE (Enhanced) system board to activate Junos OS, advanced security services and routing features on the SRX300 chassis.
The SRX300 chassis includes eight 10/100/1000 Mbps RJ-45 ports and two SFP slots for fiber or SFP-based copper uplinks.
The SRX300 ships with 4 GB of DDR3 RAM and 8 GB of onboard flash storage, enabling robust security services and persistent configuration storage.
