SX350X-12-K9-NA is a managed, non-PoE 10 Gigabit Ethernet switch for small-business server and network-storage connections. Ten dedicated copper network ports sit beside two fixed copper/SFP+ combo uplinks, giving the chassis 12 usable network connections. Each combo pair provides either a copper connection or a fiber connection, not both simultaneously. The Cisco 350X Series uses a 1U rack-mount chassis and static routing, corresponding to Layer 2+ functionality. Copper and SFP+ interfaces support 1G or 10G operation, allowing uplink media to match the connected equipment. Unlike the discontinued SG350X-12PMV-K9-NA, this model does not supply endpoint power. This 12-port 10 Gigabit Ethernet switch connects independently powered equipment; its fixed uplink arrangement does not require a removable network card.

240 Gbps switching capacity provides nonblocking switching across the network interfaces. 178.56 Mpps forwarding at 64-byte packet size defines the small-packet throughput rating. Static IPv4 routing supports 990 routes for manually configured paths between networks. A separate routing limit permits 128 IPv4 interfaces, including physical ports, VLAN interfaces, link aggregation groups, and loopbacks. SX350X-12-K9-NA carries 512 MB of CPU memory and 256 MB of flash for its management software and stored images. The 3 MB packet buffer is dynamically shared across ports rather than reserved equally for each interface. A 32000-entry MAC table supports address learning, while 4094 active VLANs provide traffic segmentation. STP, RSTP, MSTP, and LACP support loop control and link aggregation. Eight hardware queues handle traffic prioritization, and 2000 ACL entries support ingress or egress filtering. Browser-based configuration and a scriptable CLI provide local administration. Routing is static rather than dynamic, so administrators must configure remote-network paths explicitly.
ORM Systems offers SX350X-12-K9-NA new sealed with up to 3-year extended warranty or certified refurbished with up to 1 year; 30-day returns apply to every condition, terms apply. Certified refurbished units are inspected and bench-tested for power-on, POST, rated-speed port links, clean boot, optics recognition, PSU status, and fan status, with firmware verified and configuration wiped to factory default. Specify condition, quantity, mounting hardware, and required uplink accessories on the purchase order. Cisco's limited lifetime hardware warranty is bounded by service ending July 31, 2027; enterprise and volume orders support PO acceptance, Net-30 for government, and RMA with advance replacement across UK, EU, US, and MEA.

When a branch purchase includes new copper cabling, Category 6a supports the switch's 10 Gigabit Ethernet connections over distances reaching 100 m. Existing cable runs therefore need a separate assessment from the hardware order. Specify the cable category, termination requirements, and required run lengths before issuing the PO.
When an access refresh includes manually routed IPv6 segments, the switch supports 245 IPv6 static routes and 106 IPv6 interfaces. These limits are separate from the IPv4 allocation and require their own configuration plan. Count the intended IPv6 interfaces and destination networks before specifying the equipment quantity.
When a purchase is intended for configuration validation before rollout, dual software images provide separate image storage for firmware staging. The embedded RMON agent supports four groups covering history, statistics, alarms, and events. Specify the required firmware verification and factory-default configuration state with the order before scheduling the staging work.
Power delivery to connected endpoints
SX350X-12-K9-NA provides no PoE output on its network ports. Endpoints requiring electrical power through their Ethernet connection need a separate power source or a powered switching configuration.
Dynamic routing between remote networks
SX350X-12-K9-NA supports static IPv4 and IPv6 routing rather than dynamic route exchange. A requirement for automatic route learning needs a different routing device.
Cisco service beyond July 2027
Cisco support for SX350X-12-K9-NA ends July 31, 2027. C1300-12XT-2X is the current successor after the discontinued CBS350-12XT-NA and provides 12 10GE ports plus two SFP+ uplinks.

SX350X-12-K9-NA identifies the SX350X 10 Gigabit Ethernet model with 12 copper network ports and the -NA regional ordering suffix. Two copper connections are shared with SFP+ uplinks. The -NA variant covers the United States, Canada, Mexico, Colombia, Chile, and remaining Latin American markets.
SX350X-12-K9-NA supports an HTTP/HTTPS web interface, console access, full or menu CLI over SSH/Telnet, SNMP, Smart Network Application, FindIT Network Manager with its embedded probe, and Active Advisor. The web interface includes simple and advanced modes. A dedicated 1G management port provides a separate management connection.
SX350X-12-K9-NA ended sale July 30, 2022, and Cisco support ends July 31, 2027. Software maintenance ended July 30, 2023. The direct replacement, CBS350-12XT-NA, is also discontinued, with end-of-sale May 30, 2024. The forward migration chain now ends at C1300-12XT-2X.
ORM Systems offers SX350X-12-K9-NA new sealed with up to 3-year extended warranty or certified refurbished with up to 1 year; 30-day returns cover every condition, terms apply. Cisco's limited lifetime hardware warranty is bounded by its July 31, 2027 support deadline. Refurbished units are inspected, bench-tested, firmware verified, and wiped to factory default.
No, SX350X-12-K9-NA does not provide PoE output on any network port. The copper and SFP+ interfaces transport data, while attached endpoints require their own power source. Select this configuration for independently powered equipment, not for a purchase requiring electrical power delivery over Ethernet.
SX350X-12-K9-NA accepts SFP-10G-SR= for multimode fiber, SFP-10G-LR= for single-mode fiber, and SFP-H10GB-CU1M= for 1 m direct copper connections. The two SFP+ slots share their network connections with copper ports, so each pair has one active interface. Select the accessory to match the medium and required reach.
Yes, Cisco 350X Series hardware stacking supports four members managed under one IP address. Compatible hybrid stacks combine SG350X, SG350XG, and SX350X models using 10G fiber or copper interconnects. Ring and chain topologies are supported; SFP-H10GB-CU1M= provides a 1 m direct-attach connection. Allocate interfaces for stack links before deployment.
SX350X-12-K9-NA supports IPv4 static routing with 990 routes and 128 IP interfaces, plus IPv6 static routing with 245 routes and 106 IPv6 interfaces. Routed interfaces can use physical ports, link aggregation groups, VLAN interfaces, or loopbacks. Remote-network paths require static entries rather than dynamic route learning.
SX350X-12-K9-NA uses an internal 100-240V AC power supply and consumes 63.9W at 110V or 64.1W at 220V in worst-case operation. There is no redundant internal power supply option. Specify the correct regional power cord and allow for the higher consumption when planning the electrical allocation.
SX350X-12-K9-NA replaces the discontinued SG350XG-2F10-K9-NA, which ended sale June 18, 2020. Cisco service for the older model ended June 30, 2025; support for SX350X-12-K9-NA ends July 31, 2027. For a current-generation replacement rather than legacy continuity, the forward migration chain ends at C1300-12XT-2X.
SG350X-12PMV-K9-NA provides a shared 375W PoE budget, while SX350X-12-K9-NA supplies no endpoint power. Both models are discontinued. For legacy-system continuity, the powered configuration serves equipment requiring Ethernet-delivered power; the non-PoE configuration serves independently powered equipment. Confirm endpoint power requirements before selecting either legacy model.
SX350X-24-K9-NA has 24 network connections, compared with 12 on SX350X-12-K9-NA. Both are discontinued 10 Gigabit Ethernet copper models. For an existing installation, the smaller model serves a requirement within 12 connections; the larger model addresses a legacy requirement exceeding that count without adding another switch.
C1300-12XT-2X provides 12 10GE ports plus two 10G SFP+ uplinks, while SX350X-12-K9-NA shares two SFP+ uplinks within its 12 network connections. C1300-12XT-2X is the current migration endpoint; SX350X-12-K9-NA is discontinued. The older model serves legacy continuity, while the successor suits purchases requiring separate copper and fiber connections.
The Cisco 350X 12-port switch occupies a 1U rack position and measures 44 mm high, 440 mm wide, and 203 mm deep. The chassis weighs 2.93 kg and uses two fans. A mounting kit is included in the original package; specify the required mounting hardware when ordering a replacement unit.
