SX350X-24F-K9 is a managed Layer 2+ fiber aggregation switch with 20 dedicated 10G SFP+ connections and four fixed 10G copper/SFP+ combo connections in a 1U rack chassis. Those shared interfaces provide a choice of media, not additional simultaneous links, while the non-PoE design leaves endpoint power to other equipment. The Cisco 350X Series Stackable Managed Switches family serves small-business networks connecting access switches, servers, and network storage. Ports also support 1G connections for links that have not moved to 10G. Compared with the discontinued SX350X-24-K9-NA, this model emphasizes SFP+ fiber rather than copper connections. Uplinks are built in, so the hardware order does not require a removable uplink card.
SX350X-24F-K9 price for new stock is $2,168.25, a 30.3% saving from the Cisco list price of $3,112.00. SX350X-24F-K9 refurb price is $2,913.75. SX350X-24F-K9 is in stock and available for next-day dispatch. (terms applied)

480 Gbps switching capacity supports the fixed port complement, while 240 Mpps forwarding specifies the packet-rate limit for 64-byte traffic. Static IPv4 and IPv6 routing allows communication between VLANs without a dynamic routing process. SX350X-24F-K9 holds 32000 MAC entries and carries 512 MB of memory plus 256 MB of flash for its control software and configuration. A shared 3 MB packet buffer serves traffic across the ports rather than assigning that amount to each interface. The Cisco SX350X-24F also supports STP, RSTP, MSTP, and LACP for spanning-tree control and aggregated links. Management access includes an HTTP/HTTPS interface, a scriptable CLI, and SNMP v1/v2c/v3, with a dedicated Gigabit Ethernet out-of-band connection. RADIUS and TACACS+ provide centralized administrator authentication, while ingress and egress access-control lists support 2000 entries. Eight hardware queues support traffic prioritization, and sFlow exports samples to an external collector for traffic analysis.

A refresh of discontinued SG350XG-24F-K9-NA equipment starts with an installed model whose Cisco support ended June 30, 2025. An existing-hardware replacement requirement calls for checking the regional order form, configuration requirements, and physical installation before selecting condition. Specify the required configuration and regional form on the purchase order.
A purchase for inter-VLAN connectivity needs separate checks for address families and interface counts. The switch supports 128 IP interfaces, 106 IPv6 interfaces, and 245 IPv6 static routes. Count the required routed interfaces and IPv6 destinations independently, then confirm those requirements before committing the hardware to the purchase order.
A multi-site rollout using a common startup configuration can use text-editable configuration files and secure SCP downloads. Dual firmware images support upgrade staging, while the embedded FindIT Network Probe avoids a separate probe appliance. Specify configuration-file preparation, image verification, and staging requirements before releasing the purchase order.
Endpoint power supplied over Ethernet
SX350X-24F-K9 does not deliver PoE through its copper connections, so it cannot supply operating power to phones, cameras, or wireless access points over Ethernet.
Dynamic routing between network segments
SX350X-24F-K9 supports static routing rather than dynamic route exchange. Networks requiring automatically learned routes cannot use this switch as their dynamic routing device.
Cisco support beyond July 2027
Cisco service for SX350X-24F-K9 ends July 31, 2027. C1300-24XS is the current migration endpoint; the intermediate CBS350-24XS-NA is also discontinued, not a current replacement.

SX350X-24F-K9 identifies a 350X 24-port 10G SFP+ stackable managed switch: SX350X is the model family, 24 is the port count, and F distinguishes the fiber-oriented version. K9 belongs to the base order identifier; regional forms include SX350X-24F-K9-NA for the United States.
SX350X-24F-K9 supports an HTTP/HTTPS web interface, console or SSH/Telnet CLI, SNMP v1/v2c/v3, Smart Network Application, FindIT Network Manager, the embedded FindIT Network Probe, and Active Advisor. FindIT Network Discovery Utility assists discovery, while Cisco Network Plug and Play supports provisioning. A dedicated Gigabit Ethernet management port provides out-of-band access.
SX350X-24F-K9 ended sale on July 30, 2022, with Cisco support scheduled to end July 31, 2027. Software maintenance ended July 30, 2023. The North American replacement was CBS350-24XS-NA, itself discontinued; the forward migration chain now ends at C1300-24XS. Plan support duration around those fixed milestones.
ORM offers SX350X-24F-K9 new sealed or certified refurbished, with up to a 3-year extended warranty on new units and up to 1 year on certified refurbished units. Both conditions have 30-day returns; terms apply. Cisco's limited lifetime hardware warranty is separate, subject to eligibility and its July 31, 2027 last support date.
SX350X-24F-K9 replaces the discontinued SG350XG-24F-K9-EU, SG350XG-24F-K9-NA, and SG350XG-24F-K9-UK regional models, whose end-of-sale date was June 18, 2020. Those older units reached their last support date on June 30, 2025. Match the regional order form and existing interface requirements when preparing a replacement purchase.
The Cisco 350X Series supports SFP-10G-SR= for 10G multimode fiber and SFP-10G-LR= for 10G single-mode fiber. SFP-10G-LR= supports 10 km; SFP-10G-SR= reaches 26 to 400 m depending on fiber. SFP-H10GB-CU1M=, SFP-H10GB-CU3M=, and SFP-H10GB-CU5M= provide 1 m, 3 m, and 5 m direct-attach alternatives.
SX350X-24F-K9 supports four-member hardware stacks, including mixed SG350X, SG350XG, and SX350X members. Stack connections use 10G fiber or copper interfaces. Ring and chain arrangements are supported, and link aggregation can combine stack interconnects. Allocate connection ports and select the required interconnection media before ordering the additional hardware.
The Cisco 350X Series supports IPv4 and IPv6 static routing, with 990 IPv4 static routes, 245 IPv6 static routes, 128 IP interfaces, and 106 IPv6 interfaces. SX350X-24F-K9 provides Layer 2+ switching with static routing rather than dynamic routing. Size routed interfaces and static-route requirements separately before purchase.
The Cisco SX350X-24F fits a 19-inch rack in 1U and measures 440 mm wide, 44 mm high, and 350 mm deep. Weight is 4.4 kg, and a mounting kit is included. Allow for fan-cooled operation and a 0°C to 50°C operating environment when planning the rack position.
The Cisco SX350X-24F consumes 39W in its worst-case 220V operating condition and 38.5W at 110V. An internal universal supply accepts 100-240V AC at 47-63 Hz. Four fans provide cooling. These figures describe system consumption; there is no PoE output budget for attached endpoints.
SX350X-24F-K9 provides 24 SFP+ interfaces with four shared copper connections, while SX350X-24-K9-NA provides 24 copper interfaces with four shared SFP+ connections. Both are discontinued. The fiber-oriented model suits SFP+ cabling plans; the copper-oriented model suits 10GBASE-T connections. Shared interfaces do not increase either switch's simultaneous port count.
SG350X-24PD-K9-NA supplies a 375W shared PoE budget across 20 Gigabit and four 2.5G copper ports, whereas SX350X-24F-K9 supplies no endpoint power. Both models are discontinued. The powered model serves copper-connected endpoints needing Ethernet-delivered power; the fiber-oriented model serves 10G SFP+ aggregation where connected equipment has separate power.
C1300-24XS is the current migration endpoint for discontinued SX350X-24F-K9, following the also-discontinued CBS350-24XS-NA. Both SX350X-24F-K9 and C1300-24XS use 24 SFP+ ports with four shared 10G copper connections. The legacy unit addresses an existing-hardware requirement; C1300-24XS addresses a purchase that must follow the current replacement path.
