WS-C3560X-48PF-E identifies a standalone Catalyst 3560-X switch with 48 Gigabit PoE+ ports and IP Services. WS-C3560X identifies the family, 48 gives the access-port count, PF identifies the full-PoE configuration with C3KX-PWR-1100WAC, and E identifies IP Services. The base configuration has an empty uplink bay rather than installed fiber uplinks.
Catalyst 3560-X supports CLI configuration through console access and remote SSH or Telnet, SNMP management, PC-based template configuration and CiscoWorks LMS. Console choices include RJ-45 and USB Type-B, with an Ethernet management port for out-of-band access. SSH and cryptographic SNMPv3 require the appropriate cryptographic software image on the managed unit.
