Network Advantage supplies the perpetual network tier for advanced routing, segmentation and multicast requirements. C9200-48T-A is the corresponding data-only sibling for endpoints with separate power. 176 Gbps switching capacity and 130.95 Mpps forwarding rate define the standalone traffic envelope; stacking raises switching capacity to 336 Gbps. 740W of shared PoE power governs the endpoint inventory with the standard PWR-C6-1KWAC, rather than guaranteeing maximum power at every powered port. OSPF, EIGRP and IS-ISv4 support advanced unicast routing, while OSPFv3 and EIGRPv6 extend routed operation to IPv6; PIM-SM and SSM cover multicast requirements. C9200-48P-A combines 4 GB DRAM with 4 GB flash to run Cisco IOS XE and retain the system image.
