A shared 100W PoE allocation limits aggregate endpoint power, although an individual powered port can provide 30W. CBS250-24PP-4G supports static routing rather than dynamic routing protocols. Its 512 MB DRAM, 256 MB flash, and 8000-entry MAC table support switch operation and configuration storage.

CBS250-24PP-4G identifies the Business 250 smart-switch model with 24 Gigabit PoE+ access ports, a 100W partial-PoE allocation, and four Gigabit SFP uplinks. The PP configuration describes its power budget, not a reduction in the number of PoE-capable access ports.
CBS250-24PP-4G supports an HTTP/HTTPS web interface, console CLI, SSH, Telnet, SNMP, Cisco Business Dashboard, and Cisco Business mobile app. Full and menu-based CLI modes are available. Select the administration method before preparing configuration templates or assigning responsibility for local and centralized management.
CBS250-24PP-4G is discontinued. End-of-sale was October 29, 2024; phone support, software maintenance, and security support ended October 29, 2025. The last date of eligible support is October 31, 2029. No direct migration product is designated for this model.

Its features are available with the hardware purchase, without separately ordered network-license tiers or minimum subscription terms. Those older models reached end-of-sale on October 30, 2021, with support ending October 31, 2026. Confirm the regional ordering variant before transferring an older purchase specification.
CBS250-24PP-4G has a 100W PoE budget, while discontinued CBS250-24P-4G has 195W. The distinction is aggregate endpoint-power allocation. Compare the connected devices' total demand with the intended model's budget rather than treating the similar part numbers as interchangeable.
CBS250-24PP-4G has four 1G SFP uplinks; discontinued CBS250-24P-4X has four 10G SFP+ uplinks. The former matches a legacy Gigabit-uplink requirement, while the latter identifies a legacy 10G-uplink configuration. For a current 10G alternative, C1200-24P-4X is the migration model for CBS250-24P-4X.
