8400 Gbps internal switching bandwidth is the assembled director's chassis-level ceiling, rather than an installed port configuration. DS-C9513 requires compatible operating hardware before it can carry SAN traffic. Enhanced functions require their corresponding licenses; permanent feature licenses are tied to a specific chassis. Reusing a supervisor does not make another chassis's licensed entitlements transferable. Separate hardware compatibility, installed software and entitlement checks when preparing the bill of materials.
