The switching capacity reaches line rate for packet sizes of 187 bytes and above. C9500-24Y4C-E carries 16 GB of DRAM and 16 GB of flash, separating working memory from persistent software storage. UADP 3.0 supports configurable hardware resource allocation rather than one invariant allocation for every deployment. Hardware ceilings reach 82000 MAC entries and 256000 combined direct and indirect IPv4 routes; selected templates and address-prefix combinations determine usable allocation, and these hardware limits do not grant additional software entitlements. Jumbo frames reach 9216 bytes for connections requiring larger Ethernet frames. Four C9K-T1-FANTRAY units provide front-to-back cooling, so rack airflow must accommodate that direction.
