3200 Gbps switching capacity and 1000 Mpps forwarding rate support aggregation traffic, with the line-rate qualification applying to packets of 187 bytes or larger. C9500-32QC-A uses UADP 3.0 forwarding silicon. Its forwarding resources depend on the selected Software Database Manager template.
C9500-32QC-A is available new sealed or certified refurbished, inspected and bench-tested; refurbished managed units have firmware verified and configuration wiped to factory default. Testing includes power-on and POST, rated-speed port links, clean boot, optics bay recognition, PSU status and fan status. Specify condition and the required accessory configuration on the purchase order. New units carry up to a 3-year extended ORM warranty; certified refurbished units carry up to 1 year, with 30-day returns on every condition, terms apply. For enterprise and volume orders, PO is accepted, government Net-30 is available, and RMA includes advance replacement across UK, EU, US and MEA regions.

A refresh of discontinued C9500-12Q equipment requires a replacement hardware and licensing configuration rather than a repeat order. The older models reached end of sale April 30, 2024. Review existing fiber links, required interface quantities and software entitlements before specifying the replacement purchase order.
A campus rollout using RFID inventory tracking needs the tag decision made before hardware procurement. Select C9500-RFID when the tag is required or C9500-RFID-NONE when omitting it. An omitted tag cannot be installed later, so include the selection in each site's approved equipment configuration.
More than sixteen native 100G connections
The 100G configuration is limited to sixteen connections. C9500-32C-A provides thirty-two native 100G connections for a higher-density requirement.
Native SFP28 access interfaces
The fixed interfaces use QSFP cages rather than SFP28 cages. C9500-48Y4C-A provides forty-eight 1G, 10G or 25G SFP28 interfaces and four 100G uplinks.

C9500 identifies Catalyst 9500, 32 identifies the port count, QC identifies the 40G configuration, and A identifies Network Advantage. C9500-32QC-A is the high-performance, 32-port 40G ordering configuration.
C9500-32QC-A supports CLI, embedded WebUI, Catalyst Center and Meraki dashboard management. Available management capabilities depend on the software release and subscription.
Cisco has not announced an end-of-sale date for Catalyst 9500. C9500-32QC-A is not among the discontinued C9500-12Q, C9500-24Q or C9500-40X models.
C9500-32QC-A is offered new sealed or certified refurbished. ORM provides up to a 3-year extended warranty for new units and up to 1 year for certified refurbished units, with 30-day returns on every condition; terms apply. Cisco's separate Enhanced Limited Lifetime warranty covers the original owner, subject to its end-of-life policy.
