C9500-32C-A identifies a Catalyst 9500 high-performance switch with 32 100G ports and Network Advantage licensing. C9500 identifies the family, 32 identifies the port count, C identifies this 100G configuration, and A identifies the included license tier. The complete part number distinguishes the hardware and perpetual network entitlement.
Catalyst 9500 management includes CLI, WebUI, Catalyst Center and the Meraki dashboard, with available functions depending on software and subscription selection. Local device administration and centralized management are separate purchase considerations. The management method therefore belongs in the software and entitlement requirements accompanying the hardware order.
C9500-32C-A is not included in the announced hardware end-of-sale groups for older Catalyst 9500 models. Cisco has not announced an end-of-sale date for Catalyst 9500 high-performance models.
