HF6100-64ED-S uses Cisco Silicon One G200 forwarding silicon with 64 GB of DRAM and a hardware maximum of 512000 MAC entries. Static routing, BGPv4 and BGPv6 support external routed connections; EVPN/VXLAN provides fabric overlay connectivity. MACsec encryption is not supported. 995W typical system power excludes pluggable power loads, so electrical planning must also account for the selected optics. Hardware scale remains subject to software entitlement and feature limits rather than guaranteeing every maximum concurrently.
HF6100-64ED-S is available new sealed or certified refurbished, with ORM warranties up to 3-year extended coverage for new units and up to 1 year for certified refurbished units; returns are 30 days in every condition, terms apply. Certified refurbished units are inspected and bench-tested, including PSU3KW-HVPI status, FAN-PI-V4 fan status and clean boot; firmware is verified and configurations are wiped to factory default. Specify condition and quantities on the purchase order; Cisco's separate standard hardware warranty is one year and follows original eligibility terms.
