51200 Gbps switching capacity and 20 Bpps forwarding throughput provide the hardware forwarding envelope, with line-rate operation specified for packets of 187 bytes or larger. HF6100-64ED-D carries 64 GB of DRAM and supports 512000 MAC entries, subject to entitlement and feature limits. Static and BGP routing require the Hyperfabric service entitlement. MACsec is not supported. 995W typical system consumption excludes pluggable-module power, so an optical configuration needs its own electrical allowance rather than treating that figure as a fully populated maximum.
HF6100-64ED-D is offered new sealed or certified refurbished, with up to a 3-year extended warranty on new units, up to 1 year on certified refurbished units, and 30-day returns in every condition; terms apply. Certified refurbished units are inspected and bench-tested for power-on and POST, rated-speed port links, clean boot, PSU status, and fan status, with firmware verified and configuration wiped to factory default. An existing fabric expansion requires every member to use the same operating-system release. Treat the addition as a coordinated staging change rather than a chassis-only purchase. Identify the receiving fabric, record its installed release, and align the preparation and acceptance requirements before issuing the PO.
A single-supply staging configuration requires PWR-C6-BLANK over the unused power-supply slot to preserve airflow. Include that cover in the assembly requirements rather than leaving an open bay during preparation.
