256 Gbps switching capacity and 190.48 Mpps forwarding support wire-speed IPv4 and IPv6 forwarding on the standalone chassis, rising to 736 Gbps and 547.62 Mpps when stacked. 822W of available PoE power ships with the default PWR-C1-1100WAC-P; adding a second PWR-C1-1100WAC-P raises the shared pool to 1800W. C9300-48U-E runs Cisco IOS XE with 8 GB DRAM, 16 GB flash, 32000 MAC addresses, 32000 IPv4 routes, 1000 SVIs and 16 MB buffers on Gigabit Ethernet models. Network Essentials supports RIP, EIGRP Stub, OSPF with a 1000-route limit, PBR, PIM Stub Multicast with a 1000-route limit and VRRP, while BGP, IS-IS, HSRP, VXLAN and MACsec-256 require Network Advantage.
