Technical Details
208 Gbps switching capacity defines the standalone switching ceiling, while 154.76 Mpps forwarding with 64-byte IPv4 packets provides a separate packet-rate limit for traffic sizing. OSPF, EIGRP, BGP and IS-IS support routed access, with PBR, VRRP, HSRP and PIM-SM addressing policy, first-hop redundancy and multicast requirements. C9300-24T-A has 8 GB of DRAM and 16 GB of flash for system operation and software storage, plus a 16 MB packet buffer for queued traffic. IPv4 resources total 32000 routes, comprising 24000 direct routes and 8000 indirect routes; the Layer 2 forwarding table holds 32000 MAC addresses. Within the Catalyst 9000 family, Cisco UADP 2.0 uses configurable templates to allocate forwarding, ACL and QoS resources. MACsec-256 provides link encryption, but hardware-based IPsec is absent. Three FAN-T2= fan modules provide N+1 cooling redundancy. The internal PWR-C1-350WAC-P supply accepts 100-240V AC, with a second internal supply supported as an option.
