C9300-24UB-A identifies a Catalyst 9300 higher-scale Gigabit Cisco UPOE switch with Network Advantage. C9300 denotes the series, 24 denotes the copper access-port count, UB identifies the higher-scale UPOE configuration, and A identifies Network Advantage. The uplink architecture is modular rather than fixed.
Catalyst 9300 switches are managed through local console or SSH CLI, Cisco Catalyst Center, and supported Meraki dashboard workflows. NETCONF, RESTCONF, and GNMI provide programmable interfaces. The selected management workflow depends on compatible software and licensing, with device-sourced cloud configurations remaining local to the switch.
Cisco has not announced an end-of-sale date for Catalyst 9300. C9300-24UB-A has no announced hardware replacement PID or final hardware support date.
