C9300-24UXB-A identifies a Catalyst 9300 higher-scale, 24-port Multigigabit UPOE switch with Network Advantage. C9300 identifies the family, 24 the access-port count, UXB the higher-scale 10G/mGig copper UPOE configuration, and A the Network Advantage tier. The configuration uses modular uplinks rather than an embedded uplink-speed suffix.
The Catalyst 9300 series provides an embedded WebUI, local console access, SSH CLI, and Catalyst Center management, plus Meraki dashboard options. IOS XE cloud management supports cloud-sourced configuration or device-sourced configuration with a Cloud CLI terminal. Management mode, software release, and licensing must be aligned before deployment.
Cisco has not announced an end-of-sale date for Catalyst 9300. Hardware lifecycle and Cisco IOS XE release lifecycle are separate purchasing considerations. Before ordering C9300-24UXB-A, specify the intended software release and confirm the maintenance and subscription arrangements required for that release.

C9300-24UXB-A provides 560W of shared PoE power with the default PWR-C1-1100WAC-P and supports 60W Cisco UPOE per port. The single-supply budget cannot power all 24 ports at maximum simultaneously. Adding a second PWR-C1-1100WAC-P raises available PoE power to 1440W, so supply configuration must follow the intended endpoint load.
C9300-24UXB-A accepts C9300-NM-4G for four 1G ports, C9300-NM-4M for four Multigigabit ports, C9300-NM-8X for eight 10G ports, C9300-NM-2Y for two 25G ports, and C9300-NM-2Q for two 40G ports. The base switch includes no uplink module, so specify the selected module and compatible optics separately.
C9300-24UXB-A supports StackWise-480 with eight members and 480 Gbps stacking bandwidth. Only higher-scale Catalyst 9300 members with matching Network Advantage licenses can join. STACK-T1-50CM is supplied for modular-uplink models; STACK-T1-1M and STACK-T1-3M provide longer connections. Select cable length from the physical spacing between chassis.
