Fanless convection cooling still requires an enclosure suited to the operating temperature. IEM-3000-8FM provides port LEDs for checking link presence, activity, disabled interfaces and link faults during commissioning. Where an industrial cabinet already contains an IE-3000-4TC-E, the expansion module can add fiber connections while retaining that discontinued host. Confirm the installed base-switch PID, existing expansion arrangement and required fiber terminations, then specify the compatible module and condition on the purchase order.
