MA-CBL-100G-3M is a Cisco Meraki 100G Stacking Cable (3 m), a QSFP28 passive Twinax Meraki Stacking cable with a 100 Gigabit data rate for Meraki MS150 switches. The 3 m reach is the edge over MA-CBL-100G-1M, so it spans separated rack positions that the 1 m cable cannot cover. This Meraki MS stack cable also fits MS355 and MS450 physical stacks. Each switch uses two rear stack ports. A completed stack carries traffic over dedicated stack links, gives one logical switch to configure and adds Layer 2 dual-homing and Layer 3 gateway redundancy. MS model switches keep their own management IP address in that stack.
MA-CBL-100G-3M price is $343.35. MA-CBL-100G-3M is in stock and available for free next-day delivery. (terms applied)

100 Gigabit QSFP28 data rate places this 3 m Stack Cable in the Meraki 100G stacking group. MS355 and MS450 stacks use 400 Gbps of stack bandwidth, and MS150 stacks use 80 Gbps. Eight switches is the physical-stack limit. A full ring needs one cable per switch; a four-switch ring needs 4 cables. MA-CBL-100G-3M goes into dedicated rear stack ports while all switches are powered off and links are disconnected. The black tab faces up on MS switch stacks, and the stack LED moves from orange cable detection to green stack status when the link is good. Only like-model MS switches share one physical stack.
MA-CBL-100G-3M is offered new sealed and certified refurbished. Certified refurbished cables are inspected and bench-tested between two compatible switches; connectors, pins, latches and housing are inspected, and the stack link comes up at the rated bandwidth. Order one 3 m cable for each switch in a full ring, and confirm the 3 m path before the PO. New carries up to 3-year extended warranty, certified refurbished carries up to 1 year, and returns are 30 days on every condition; terms apply. Regional stock and RMA points cover UK, EU, US and MEA; PO accepted, Net-30 for government and RMA with advance replacement apply.

A buyer replacing a bad 100G stack link in an MS355 or MS450 ring keeps the stack technology unchanged with MA-CBL-100G-3M. The 3 m length must match the rack path, and the QSFP28 ends must seat in rear stack ports. Count one replacement cable for each failed link before the PO.
A buyer adding a like-model MS150, MS355 or MS450 switch to an existing physical stack needs another 100G stacking link. A full ring uses one cable per stack member, so an eight-switch ring uses 8 cables. Check that each added switch has two rear stack ports and matching firmware before the PO.
A buyer spanning adjacent cabinets chooses the 3 m Meraki 100G Stack Cable when 0.5 m or 1 m 100G cable lengths do not reach. Measure rear-port-to-rear-port distance through the cable path, then count one 3 m cable for every ring link that crosses the gap before the PO.
40 Gigabit Meraki stacks
MS210, MS225, MS250, MS350, MS410 and MS425 use 40 Gigabit stacking cables; choose MA-CBL-40G-3M for 3 m runs instead.
MS390 or Catalyst stacks
MS390 and C9300 use 120 Gigabit or StackWise cables, not the 100 Gigabit QSFP28 Meraki cable; choose MA-CBL-120G-3M for 3 m MS390 stacks.
Mixed-model physical stacks
Meraki physical stacks use like-model switches only; MS150, MS355 and MS450 do not join one physical stack with this cable.

MA-CBL-100G-3M is the Cisco Meraki 100G Stacking Cable (3 m) for Meraki MS physical stacks. It is a 100GQSFP28, QSFP28 passive Twinax cable assembly with a 100 Gigabit data rate. The MA prefix marks the Meraki accessory family, CBL marks cable, 100G marks the data-rate group and 3M marks 3 m.
MA-CBL-100G-3M fits Meraki MS150, MS355 and MS450 switches that use 100 Gigabit physical stacking. MS210, MS225, MS250, MS350, MS410 and MS425 take 40 Gigabit stack cables, with MA-CBL-40G-3M for a 3 m run. MS390 takes MA-CBL-120G-3M for a 3 m data stack.
Meraki MS355 uses MA-CBL-100G-3M when the stack link needs 3 m of reach. The same 100G cable family also has MA-CBL-100G-50CM for 0.5 m and MA-CBL-100G-1M for 1 m. MS355 has two dedicated stack ports and uses 400 Gbps stack bandwidth.
MA-CBL-100G-3M has a 100 Gigabit cable data rate, and stack bandwidth depends on the switch family. MS355 and MS450 stacks use 400 Gbps, while MS150 stacks use 80 Gbps. Meraki physical stacking gives dedicated stack links, one logical switch, Layer 2 dual-homing redundancy and Layer 3 gateway redundancy.
A full-ring stack needs one MA-CBL-100G-3M cable per switch, so 4 switches need 4 cables and 8 switches need 8 cables. Use the 3 m length where the rear stack-port path crosses spaced rack positions. Count every ring link before the PO.
MA-CBL-100G-3M serves physical stacks of as many as 8 Meraki MS switches. Physical stacks use a ring topology with dedicated rear stack ports. Only like-model switches share one physical stack, so do not mix MS150, MS355 and MS450 units in the same physical stack.
MA-CBL-100G-3M should be installed with all switches powered off and links disconnected for stack buildout. Insert the QSFP28 cable into the dedicated rear stack ports, keep the black tab facing up and check the stack LED. Orange marks cable detection, and green marks good stack status.
MA-CBL-100G-3M does not make a mixed MS150, MS355 and MS450 physical stack. Meraki physical stacking uses like-model switches, aside from other exceptions that do not involve this 100G cable. Use the cable within one MS150 stack, one MS355 stack or one MS450 stack.
MA-CBL-100G-3M and MA-CBL-100G-1M differ by reach inside the same Meraki 100G stacking family. MA-CBL-100G-3M is the 3 m choice for separated rack positions, while MA-CBL-100G-1M is the 1 m choice for shorter rear-port paths. Both fit MS150, MS355 and MS450 stacks.
MA-CBL-100G-3M and MA-CBL-40G-3M differ by stack family and data rate, not by length. MA-CBL-100G-3M is the 3 m 100 Gigabit cable for MS150, MS355 and MS450. MA-CBL-40G-3M is the 3 m 40 Gigabit cable for MS210, MS225, MS250, MS350, MS410 and MS425.
MA-CBL-100G-3M and MA-CBL-120G-3M serve different Meraki stack technologies at the same 3 m length. MA-CBL-100G-3M fits MS150, MS355 and MS450 100 Gigabit physical stacks. MA-CBL-120G-3M fits MS390 and C9300 120 Gigabit data stacks.
Cisco has not announced an end-of-sale date for MA-CBL-100G-3M. The cable serves Meraki MS150, MS355 and MS450 stacks, and Cisco stopped selling MS450-12-HW on 29 October 2026. Cisco service for MS450-12-HW ends on 31 October 2031.
ORM Systems offers MA-CBL-100G-3M new sealed with up to 3-year extended warranty and certified refurbished with up to 1 year. Cisco Meraki MS Accessories carry a 1-year term. Returns are 30 days on every condition; terms apply, and RMA with advance replacement applies.
