MA-CBL-120G-1M is the Meraki 120G Stacking Cable, a 1 m stack cable for 480 Gbps Meraki Stacking links on MS390 switches. The 1 m length is the edge over MA-CBL-120G-50CM when adjacent switches need more slack. Catalyst 9300 takes the same cable in 480 Gbps stacks. This MS390 stack cable fits all MS390 models and Catalyst 9300 switches. Each MS390 has two rear 120G hardware stack ports for ring cabling. A physical stack uses one management IP address and scales to 8 switches. The topology target is a full ring, with one cable between neighboring stack ports and one return cable from bottom to top. MA-CBL-120G-3M is the longer sibling for wider rack gaps.
MA-CBL-120G-1M price is $149.10, a 22.2% saving from the Cisco list price of $191.70. MA-CBL-120G-1M is in stock and available for free next-day delivery. (terms applied)

480 Gbps of stack bandwidth belongs to the MS390 physical stack, and the 120 Gigabit data rate maps to the 480G cable family. The full-ring layout starts on stack port 1 of one switch and continues to stack port 2 on the next switch until the bottom switch returns to the top. MA-CBL-120G-1M installs with the connector aligned to the rear stack port and the captive screws finger-tightened. All switches are powered off with links disconnected before the first physical stack is cabled. The stack forms in Dashboard after members run the same firmware build and the stack is created from the Switch stacks page.
MA-CBL-120G-1M is offered new sealed and certified refurbished. Certified refurbished cables have connectors, pins, latches and housing inspected and are connected between two compatible switches with the stack link up at the rated bandwidth. Count one cable per switch for a full ring and confirm 1 m reach before the PO. Warranty is new — up to 3-year extended · certified refurbished — up to 1 year; returns are 30 days on every condition · terms apply. Regional stock/RMA covers UK · EU · US · MEA, with RMA with advance replacement, PO accepted and Net-30 for government.

A buyer with a failed 1 m MS390 data-stack cable needs the same 120 Gigabit cable length before reconnecting the ring. MA-CBL-120G-1M matches the 1 m length and the 480 Gbps stack family. Count the affected link and match the rear stack-port path before the PO.
A buyer adding one MS390 to an existing physical stack needs one extra stack path only if the full ring will be recabled around every member. The physical stack limit is 8 switches. Count every member, then count the same number of 1 m cables before the PO.
A buyer closing an open ring between top and bottom switches needs the return span measured, not the rack height. The cable path must reach the rear stack ports with finger-tightened screws. Measure the return path and count one cable for that ring closure before the PO.
100 Gigabit MS stack ports
MS150, MS355 and MS450 use 100 Gigabit stacking cables, so MA-CBL-120G-1M does not match those ports. Use MA-CBL-100G-1M for a 1 m 100 Gigabit stack link.
40 Gigabit MS stack ports
MS210, MS225, MS250, MS350, MS410 and MS425 use 40 Gigabit stacking cables, so MA-CBL-120G-1M does not match those ports. Use MA-CBL-40G-1M for a 1 m 40 Gigabit link.
Catalyst 9300L-M stacks
Catalyst 9300L-M uses a 320G stack kit with two adapters and one cable, so MA-CBL-120G-1M does not fit that stack. Use C9300L-STACK-KIT2-M per switch.

MA-CBL-120G-1M is the Cisco Meraki MS390 120G Data-Stack Cable, 1 meter. It is a 1 m Meraki 120G Stacking Cable for rear stack ports on MS390 switches, and its 120G name ties to the 480 Gbps MS390 stack family. Use it for data stacking.
MA-CBL-120G-1M fits all MS390 models and Catalyst 9300 switches for 480 Gbps stacking. It does not fit the 100 Gigabit MS150, MS355 or MS450 stack group, and it does not replace the 320G Catalyst 9300L-M stack kit. Match the switch family first.
An MS390 uses the 120G data-stack cable family for physical stacking, with MA-CBL-120G-50CM, MA-CBL-120G-1M and MA-CBL-120G-3M as the data lengths. MS390 StackPower uses MA-CBL-SPWR-30CM or MA-CBL-SPWR-150CM, and those power cables do not carry stack data. Count data and power separately.
MA-CBL-120G-1M serves a 480 Gbps MS390 physical stack, and the cable data rate is 120 Gigabit with 480G for the stack family. The stack also uses one management IP address, so operations treat the physical members as one managed stack.
A full ring needs one MA-CBL-120G-1M cable per switch because the final member returns to the first member. A 3-switch ring needs 3 cables, and an 8-switch ring needs 8 cables. Use the 1 m length only when the measured rear-port path fits.
MA-CBL-120G-1M serves physical stacks of up to 8 MS390 or Catalyst 9300 switches. The ring layout links stack port 1 to stack port 2 on the next switch and closes from the bottom switch back to the top switch. Count that return cable.
MA-CBL-120G-1M installs in the rear stack port with the connector aligned and the captive screws finger-tightened. Power off the switches with links disconnected before the first physical stack is cabled. The Cisco logo faces up on the connector, and Dashboard forms the stack after member selection.
MA-CBL-120G-1M fits both MS390 and Catalyst 9300 cable ports, but the switch stack must follow the mixing rule. MS390 stacks with MS390. Catalyst 9300X stacks with Catalyst 9300 at 480 Gbps backward compatibility. Do not plan one mixed MS390 and Catalyst 9300 physical stack.
MA-CBL-120G-1M is the 1 m cable, while MA-CBL-120G-3M is the 3 m cable in the same 120G MS390 data-stack family. Choose the 1 m cable for shorter rear-port paths and the 3 m cable only when the measured ring span needs it.
MA-CBL-120G-1M gives a 1 m path, while MA-CBL-120G-50CM gives a 0.5 m path in the same MS390 120G data-stack family. Choose 1 m when adjacent switches need slack beyond 0.5 m, and keep the shorter cable for tighter racks. Measure before ordering.
MA-CBL-120G-1M is for 120 Gigabit MS390 and Catalyst 9300 stack ports at 480 Gbps, while MA-CBL-100G-1M is for 100 Gigabit MS150, MS355 and MS450 stacking. The same 1 m length does not make the two cable families interchangeable. Match the data rate.
Cisco stopped selling MA-CBL-120G-1M on 29 October 2026. Cisco service ends on 31 October 2031 for this accessory, and Cisco named no replacement PID for the Meraki legacy switching accessories. It serves MS390 and Catalyst 9300 stacks. Plan spares against those dates.
ORM offers MA-CBL-120G-1M new sealed and certified refurbished, with warranty terms of new — up to 3-year extended · certified refurbished — up to 1 year. Returns are 30 days on every condition · terms apply. Cisco service ends on 31 October 2031. PO accepted.
