SF300-24MP-K9-EU combines 24 Fast Ethernet PoE+ access ports with four fixed Gigabit uplink connections in a full-width 1U rack chassis. Two uplinks are dedicated copper connections, while two are copper/SFP combo connections for a choice of transmission medium. This managed Layer 2+ switch belongs to the Cisco Small Business 300 family and supports endpoint connectivity, traffic segmentation and local static routing. Its access connections remain 10/100 rather than Gigabit, an important distinction when retaining existing IP phones or other Fast Ethernet equipment. Within the discontinued family, SF300-24PP-K9 is the lower-PoE-budget sibling. The SF300-24MP configuration retains the higher aggregate power allowance without changing the access-port speed or fixed uplink architecture.

12.8 Gbps switching capacity provides a nonblocking fabric for concurrent port traffic. 9.52 Mpps forwarding at a 64-byte packet size defines small-packet processing capacity. 375W of shared PoE power covers the combined endpoint allocation; individual powered connections support 30W, but that maximum is not reserved simultaneously for every connected device. Static IPv4 routing handles local inter-VLAN communication, while STP/RSTP/MSTP and LACP provide loop control and link aggregation. SF300-24MP-K9-EU uses 128 MB of DRAM and 16 MB of flash for its management software and stored configuration. An 8 Mb packet buffer is dynamically shared across the ports instead of being dedicated equally to each connection. Browser-based HTTP/HTTPS administration, a full or menu-based CLI, and SNMP provide configuration and monitoring paths. Access control lists and traffic prioritization support policy enforcement at the endpoint edge. Fixed uplinks stop at Gigabit speed; 10G uplinks are not available on this hardware.
ORM Systems offers SF300-24MP-K9-EU new sealed or certified refurbished; state condition and quantity on your PO. Refurbished units are inspected and bench-tested, with PoE output verified under load on every powered port, firmware verified and configurations wiped to factory default. ORM warranties are up to a 3-year extended term for new units and up to 1 year for certified refurbished units; returns are 30 days on every condition, terms apply. Cisco's limited lifetime hardware warranty ended October 31, 2023; enterprise and volume orders can use accepted POs, Net-30 for government, and RMA with advance replacement across UK, EU, US and MEA.

When an existing business network needs communication between separate VLANs, 128 IP interfaces provide a defined limit for the internal addressing plan. Keep gateway assignments distinct from external security services, and account for every required interface. Confirm the interface map before specifying the unit on the PO.
When preparing a replacement before a maintenance window, dual firmware images and text-editable configuration files support a controlled staging process. Preserve the target configuration separately and establish which image will boot before installation. Include the required firmware image and configuration preparation in the purchase requirements.
When several offices need consistent administrative permissions, CLI privilege levels 1, 7 and 15 provide distinct operator access levels. Align local responsibilities with the intended privileges rather than distributing unrestricted credentials to every technician. Specify the required operator roles and configuration baseline before releasing a multi-site order.
Gigabit connectivity on every access port
Access connections stop at 100 Mbps; Gigabit speeds are restricted to uplinks. C1300-24FP-4G is the current migration endpoint with 24 Gigabit access ports.
Maximum PoE+ output on every port
The shared 375W allowance cannot deliver 30W simultaneously across all 24 powered ports. Aggregate endpoint demand must remain within that shared ceiling.

SF300-24MP-K9-EU identifies a Cisco Small Business 300 managed Fast Ethernet switch with 24 PoE+ access ports and Max PoE power allocation. SF300 names the Fast Ethernet model family, 24 is the access-port count, and MP identifies Max PoE. Preserve K9-EU when specifying the complete ordering identifier.
SF300-24MP-K9-EU supports web administration over HTTP/HTTPS, CLI access over the local console or SSH/Telnet, and SNMP v1, v2c and v3. Both full and menu-based CLI interfaces are available. The Cisco 300 Series also supports FindIT Network Discovery and Cisco OnPlus for network discovery and management workflows.
SF300-24MP-K9-EU is discontinued, and Cisco support ended October 31, 2023. Its replacement chain passes through discontinued SF350-24MP-K9-EU and discontinued CBS350-24FP-4G-EU to C1300-24FP-4G. Existing units therefore require a purchasing and sparing plan that does not depend on renewing Cisco manufacturer service.
SF300-24MP-K9-EU is offered new sealed or certified refurbished, with ORM warranty of up to a 3-year extended term for new units or up to 1 year for certified refurbished units. Every condition has 30-day returns, terms apply. Cisco's original limited lifetime hardware warranty and service ended October 31, 2023.
SF300-24MP-K9-EU provides 375W shared across 24 PoE+ ports, with a maximum 30W allocation on an individual powered port. Those individual limits do not guarantee maximum output everywhere simultaneously. Add the required allocations for attached endpoints and keep their combined demand within the shared switch allowance.
SF300-24MP-K9-EU has four Gigabit uplink connections: two dedicated RJ-45 ports and two copper/SFP combo ports. Each combo pair shares one connection, so its copper and fiber halves cannot operate simultaneously. MGBSX1 and MGBLX1 are Gigabit fiber transceiver options; SFP+ uplinks are not part of this hardware.
The Cisco 300 Series supports static IPv4 routing with 512 static routes and 128 IP interfaces. Interfaces can be configured on physical ports, LAGs, VLANs or loopbacks. Check the planned interface and route counts independently before using the switch as a local inter-VLAN gateway.
SF300-24MP-K9-EU occupies a full-width 1U rack position and measures 440 mm wide, 44.45 mm high and 350 mm deep. The unit weighs 5.08 kg and uses four fans rather than fanless cooling. Account for chassis depth and ventilation when confirming its rack placement.
The SF300-24MP uses an internal universal AC power supply accepting 100-240V AC at 50-60 Hz. Worst-case consumption including PoE is 441W at 110V or 431W at 220V. The power distribution plan must account for the connected endpoint load and the applicable input-voltage-dependent consumption figure.
SF300-24MP-K9-EU has a 375W PoE budget, whereas discontinued SF300-24PP-K9 has 180W. Both provide 24 Fast Ethernet PoE+ access ports, so the distinction is aggregate endpoint power rather than connection count. The Max PoE model accommodates larger combined loads; the lower-budget model remains a comparison for existing installations.
SF300-24MP-K9-EU has 24 Fast Ethernet PoE+ access ports, whereas discontinued SF300-48PP-K9 has 48. Both retain Fast Ethernet endpoint connectivity. The 24-port unit matches smaller existing connection plans; the 48-port model is relevant when comparing higher-density legacy installations, rather than selecting a current successor.
C1300-24FP-4G provides 24 Gigabit access ports where SF300-24MP-K9-EU provides 24 Fast Ethernet access ports. C1300-24FP-4G is the current endpoint of the replacement chain, while the older unit is discontinued. The older hardware addresses like-for-like Fast Ethernet replacement; the current model serves access connections requiring Gigabit speed.
