SF300-24PP-K9-EU delivers managed Layer 2+ access through 24 Fast Ethernet PoE+ ports and fixed Gigabit uplinks in a 1U rack-mount chassis. The Cisco 300 Series connects IP phones, wireless access points and other Ethernet endpoints where 10/100 access matches the installed network. Two dedicated Gigabit copper uplinks sit alongside two additional Gigabit combo interfaces, each offering RJ-45 or SFP media for the same connection. The copper and fiber connections on a combo interface cannot operate as separate links. The discontinued SF300-24MP-K9-EU differs by providing a larger 375W shared PoE allocation. This model retains Fast Ethernet endpoint connections rather than providing Gigabit speed throughout the access ports.

12.8 Gbps switching capacity and 9.52 Mpps forwarding at 64-byte packet size support wire-speed traffic handling across the installed interfaces. 180W of shared PoE output supplies connected endpoints within an aggregate power ceiling. Static IPv4 routing supports communication between VLANs without requiring an external router for each internal subnet. SF300-24PP-K9-EU carries 128 MB of DRAM and 16 MB of flash for runtime state and software storage. An 8 Mb packet buffer is shared dynamically across all ports rather than reserved evenly for each connection. STP/RSTP/MSTP provide spanning-tree controls, while LACP supports grouped Ethernet links. Cisco Small Business management includes an HTTP/HTTPS browser interface, Cisco Textview command-line access and SNMP monitoring. Two fans provide active cooling, so installation requires ventilation rather than treating the chassis as fanless equipment. Maximum AC consumption reaches 218.57W at 110V when PoE loading is included, which matters when sizing rack power.
SF300-24PP-K9-EU is available from ORM Systems new sealed or certified refurbished; refurbished units are inspected and bench-tested for power-on and POST, clean boot, rated-speed linking on every port and PoE output under load on every powered port, with firmware verified and configuration wiped to factory default. Specify condition and quantity on the purchase order; ORM warranty is up to 3-year extended on new units and up to 1 year on certified refurbished units, with 30-day returns on every condition, terms apply. Cisco manufacturer service has ended. Enterprise and volume orders can use accepted POs, government Net-30 and RMA with advance replacement, with regional stock and RMA in the UK, EU, US and MEA.

Replacement PID | C1300-24P-4G |
When a spare is being purchased for an SRW224G4P-K9-EU installation, this discontinued model is the named replacement for that older PoE switch. The predecessor reached end of sale on April 27, 2015. Match saved settings and endpoint power requirements before issuing the purchase order.
When a branch order includes local inter-VLAN routing, Layer 3 system mode disables VLAN rate limiting and QoS policers while leaving other advanced QoS features operational. Treat that behavior as a configuration constraint, and verify that the required traffic policy remains available before approving the purchase order.
Gigabit access ports for endpoints
Access connections stop at 100 Mbps; Gigabit capability belongs to the uplinks. C1300-24P-4G retains 24 access ports but provides Gigabit Ethernet with four 1G SFP uplinks.
Maximum PoE+ on every port
The 180W allocation is shared, so 24 endpoints cannot each receive 30W simultaneously. A full population of maximum-draw PoE+ devices exceeds the available aggregate output.
10G uplinks to distribution
The built-in copper and combo uplinks operate at Gigabit speed. The fixed uplink arrangement does not provide 10G interfaces or an expansion card path to 10G connectivity.

SF300-24PP-K9-EU identifies a 300 Series Fast Ethernet PoE+ switch with 24 access ports and Gigabit uplinks. The SF300-24PP model has a 180W budget; SF300-24PP-K9 is its base ordering identifier, while K9-EU completes this specific ordering variant. Retain the complete suffix when matching replacement stock.
SF300-24PP-K9-EU provides a shared 180W PoE budget across 24 powered access ports, with individual PoE+ connections supporting 30W until that budget is reached. The aggregate ceiling prevents every port from delivering its individual maximum simultaneously. Size the connected load by total required power, not powered-port count alone.
The Cisco 300 Series SF300-24PP model supports two Gigabit combo uplinks that accept SFP transceivers, alongside two dedicated Gigabit copper uplinks. MGBSX1 supports multimode fiber to 300 m, and MGBLX1 supports single-mode fiber to 10 km. Each combo interface shares its connection between copper and fiber media.
SF300-24PP-K9-EU is managed through an HTTP/HTTPS web interface, Cisco Textview command-line access, SSH or Telnet, and SNMP versions 1, 2c and 3. Browser management covers configuration, system maintenance and monitoring, while text-based access serves administrators using commands. Select the intended management access method during staging.
The Cisco 300 Series provides static IPv4 routing with 512 static routes and 128 IP interfaces. Routing interfaces can use physical ports, link aggregation groups, VLAN interfaces or loopback interfaces. This supports local inter-VLAN forwarding; plan the required static routes and interface assignments before preparing the configuration.
SF300-24PP-K9-EU has a 180W shared PoE budget, while SF300-24MP-K9-EU has 375W for the same 24 powered access ports. Both models are discontinued. Existing installations with lower aggregate power requirements correspond to the former; installations requiring the larger shared allocation correspond to the latter.
SF300-24PP-K9-EU provides 24 Fast Ethernet PoE+ access ports, whereas SF300-48PP-K9-EU provides 48. Both retain Gigabit uplinks and both are discontinued. The smaller model corresponds to lower-density legacy installations; the larger model corresponds to installations that need more endpoint connections within one chassis.
SF300-24PP-K9-EU provides Fast Ethernet access, while C1300-24P-4G provides Gigabit Ethernet access across 24 ports. C1300-24P-4G is the current endpoint of the replacement chain. The discontinued model serves existing Fast Ethernet estates; the successor suits purchases requiring Gigabit endpoint connectivity and four 1G SFP uplinks.
SF300-24PP-K9-EU replaces SRW224G4P-K9-EU, the older SF300-24P Fast Ethernet PoE model. That predecessor reached end of sale on April 27, 2015. The replacement adds PoE+ capability while retaining the 24-port access layout, so endpoint power requirements remain important when matching a legacy installation.
SF300-24PP-K9-EU is discontinued and Cisco manufacturer support has ended. Its immediate replacement, SF350-24P-K9-EU, is also discontinued, as is the subsequent CBS350-24P-4G-EU. The replacement chain now ends at C1300-24P-4G, which changes the access connections from Fast Ethernet to Gigabit Ethernet for a new deployment.
ORM Systems offers SF300-24PP-K9-EU new sealed with up to a 3-year extended warranty or certified refurbished with up to 1 year, plus 30-day returns on every condition, terms apply. Cisco's original limited lifetime hardware warranty does not extend manufacturer service for this retired model; Cisco support has ended.
