Two dedicated copper uplinks sit beside two copper/SFP combo uplinks, providing four uplink connections without a removable uplink card. The 300 Series hardware occupies one rack unit and connects powered phones, cameras, and compatible wireless endpoints whose network interfaces can operate at Fast Ethernet speeds. Its discontinued sibling SF300-24 has the same access-port count without PoE. SF300-24P identifies a 300 Series Fast Ethernet PoE switch: SF denotes Fast Ethernet, 300 identifies the series, 24 identifies the access-port count, and P identifies PoE. The model is ordered under SRW224G4P-K9 and includes separate Gigabit uplink connections beyond those 24 access ports.
SF300-24P supports browser-based HTTP/HTTPS management, full or menu-based CLI access, SSH, and a local console connection. Legacy integrations include Cisco Small Business FindIT Network and Cisco OnPlus. Administrators can use the scriptable CLI for repeatable configuration and the browser interface for interactive settings; these interfaces do not make the hardware stackable.
SF300-24P is discontinued: end of sale was April 27, 2015, and Cisco support ended April 30, 2020. Its original replacement, SF300-24PP-K9-NA, is also discontinued. The forward replacement chain ends at C1300-24P-4G rather than the older intermediate models, so an exact replacement and a current-product migration are different orders.

180W is the shared PoE budget of SF300-24P across its 24 powered access ports. Endpoint power allocation must remain within that total; the port count does not mean every endpoint can draw an unrestricted amount simultaneously. Specify endpoint power requirements before selecting the unit for a replacement order.
SF300-24P includes four Gigabit uplink connections: two dedicated 10/100/1000 copper ports and two copper/SFP combo ports. Only one interface in each combo pair can operate at a time. The SFP cages therefore do not add two more independent connections beyond the four uplinks, and the uplink hardware is fixed.
Yes, SF300-24P supports IPv4 static routing between VLANs in Layer 3 system mode, with 512 static routes and 128 IP interfaces. Switching and routing coexist in that mode. Confirm the intended system mode and static-route design before staging; purchasing this model does not establish the route configuration.
SF300-24P provides PoE on 24 Fast Ethernet access ports, whereas the discontinued SF300-24 has 24 non-PoE Fast Ethernet access ports. Both configurations include Gigabit uplinks. SF300-24P addresses legacy powered-endpoint replacement; SF300-24 is the historical counterpart for externally powered devices, not a current migration recommendation.
SF300-48P has 48 Fast Ethernet access ports, compared with 24 on SF300-24P. Both are discontinued PoE models with Gigabit uplinks. The larger model corresponds to legacy 48-port installations; SF300-24P fits an exact-model replacement where the existing installation uses 24 access connections.
C1300-24P-4G has 24 Gigabit Ethernet access ports, whereas SF300-24P has 24 Fast Ethernet access ports. C1300-24P-4G is the current migration endpoint. Choose the current model for Gigabit endpoint connections; SF300-24P addresses exact-model sparing where the existing installation retains Fast Ethernet access.
