SG300-10 is a fanless, managed desktop switch with Layer 2+ capability, eight Gigabit RJ-45 access ports, and two fixed Gigabit combo uplinks. Each combo connection uses either its copper connector or its SFP cage, rather than providing two simultaneous connections. The Cisco Small Business 300 Series serves SMB networks, and this non-PoE configuration connects separately powered endpoints without allocating an endpoint power budget. The retired SG300-10P differs by providing eight PoE access ports with a shared 62W budget. For an existing copper installation, the distinction is whether endpoint power comes from the switch or from separate supplies.

SG300-10 identifies a Gigabit switch in the Cisco 300 Series with ten usable ports. The SG300 designation identifies the Gigabit model family; 10 covers eight access ports plus two combo uplinks. SRW2008-K9 is the associated order product ID, with regional versions including SRW2008-K9-NA.
SG300-10 supports a web user interface and a command-line interface, including local serial-console access and remote SSH.
