SG300-28PP identifies a Gigabit Ethernet member of the Cisco 300 Series: SG300 identifies the series configuration, 28 identifies the total logical port count, and PP denotes PoE+. The configuration includes 24 powered access ports and four uplink connections. SG300-28PP-K9 is the corresponding ordering identifier.
The Cisco 300 Series is managed through an HTTP/HTTPS web interface, a full or menu-based CLI, SSH, Telnet and a serial console. Legacy integrations include FindIT Network and OnPlus; embedded RMON supports monitoring. Specify the local management access policy before staging the equipment.
