SG300-10MPP combines fanless cooling with eight Gigabit Ethernet PoE+ access ports and two fixed Gigabit copper/SFP combo uplinks in a managed Layer 2+ desktop switch. Each combo connection uses either its copper port or its SFP cage, with only one side active at a time. The Cisco 300 Series provides small-business access switching with powered endpoint connections and a choice of copper or fiber uplinks. The discontinued SG300-10PP offers the same access and uplink configuration with a smaller 62W PoE allocation. The uplinks are built into the unit, so the purchase does not require a removable network-module selection.
