SRW208P-K9 is a fanless, managed Layer 2+ desktop switch with eight 10/100 Mbps access ports for small-business networks. Two fixed Gigabit combo uplinks provide copper or SFP connectivity, with each uplink using one medium at a time. PoE supplies compatible IP phones, wireless access points and surveillance endpoints through their Ethernet connections. The Cisco 300 Series combines traffic segmentation, prioritization and local administration without a modular chassis. The SF302-08P configuration separates powered endpoint connections from the faster links connecting the switch to the rest of the network. The discontinued SRW208G-K9 omits PoE and instead serves endpoints with their own power arrangements. Uplink ports are built in rather than supplied by a removable network card.

5.6 Gbps switching capacity accommodates traffic across the access and uplink interfaces. 4.17 Mpps forwarding is specified for 64-byte packets, giving a separate packet-processing measure rather than another expression of bandwidth. 62W of shared PoE power requires endpoint allocation: every powered port cannot simultaneously draw its 15.4W maximum. Static IPv4 routing enables communication between VLANs; routing remains static rather than using dynamically learned routes. SRW208P-K9 carries 128 MB of memory and 16 MB of flash for its embedded switching software. A 16384-entry MAC table supports address learning across connected networks. Browser administration and Textview CLI provide graphical and command-line configuration, while SNMP supports remote management. STP/RSTP/MSTP manages bridged topology, and LACP groups links. 82.1W maximum power consumption includes PoE loading and belongs in electrical sizing, not the endpoint power budget.
Specify SRW208P-K9 in new sealed or certified refurbished condition, and confirm the supplied adapter, regional power connection and order contents before submitting the PO. Certified refurbished units are inspected and bench-tested for power-on and POST, rated-speed links on every port, clean boot, optics bay recognition and PoE output under load on every powered port; firmware is verified and configurations are wiped to factory default. New units carry up to a 3-year extended ORM warranty, refurbished units up to 1 year, and every condition has 30-day returns; terms apply. For enterprise and volume orders, PO acceptance, Net-30 for government, RMA with advance replacement and regional stock/RMA across the UK, EU, US and MEA are available.

When several sites need the same configuration, text-editable configuration files let administrators prepare settings centrally and download them to individual switches. DHCP Options 12, 66, 67, 82, 129 and 150 support provisioning functions. Specify the configuration file, addressing approach and provisioning dependencies before issuing the purchase order.
When a staging bench needs packet inspection before equipment is released, port mirroring sends traffic from as many as eight source ports to one destination port within a single session. RMON adds history, statistics, alarms and events. Reserve the analyzer connection and define the capture session before ordering bench quantities.
Gigabit links to every endpoint
The eight access ports operate at 10/100 Mbps; Gigabit speeds belong to the uplinks. Connected endpoints cannot obtain a 1Gbps access link from this model.
PoE+ power for connected endpoints
Powered access ports provide PoE, not PoE+. The 15.4W per-port ceiling excludes endpoints requiring higher power, even when other ports leave some shared power available.
Current Cisco technical support coverage
Cisco service ended on April 30, 2020. A deployment requiring current Cisco technical support or ongoing software maintenance cannot meet that requirement with this retired switch.

SRW208P-K9 is the ordering identifier for Cisco SF302-08P, a managed switch with eight 10/100 PoE access ports and two Gigabit combo uplinks. The full identifier matters: SRW208P names an older product, while SRW208P-K9-NA is the North American regional ordering variant of this configuration.
The Cisco 300 Series supports browser management through HTTP/HTTPS, full or menu-based Textview CLI, SSH/Telnet access and SNMP remote management. Console access supports local administration. Configuration files can also be edited and downloaded, allowing administrators to prepare repeatable settings rather than configure each unit exclusively through its browser interface.
SRW208P-K9 reached end of sale on April 27, 2015, and its last date of Cisco support was April 30, 2020. Cisco originally named SF302-08PP-K9-NA as the North American replacement, but that replacement is also discontinued. The Cisco 300 Series is now retired and unsupported.
ORM Systems offers SRW208P-K9 new sealed or certified refurbished, with up to a 3-year extended warranty for new units and up to 1 year for refurbished units. Returns are accepted within 30 days on every condition; terms apply. Cisco's original limited lifetime warranty does not restore Cisco service, which ended April 30, 2020.
SRW208P-K9 provides a shared 62W PoE budget across eight powered access ports, with a maximum of 15.4W per port. Eight ports drawing that maximum would require 123.2W, exceeding the available budget. Size the connected endpoint load collectively rather than treating every powered port as independently provisioned for maximum output.
Cisco SF302-08P supports two Gigabit combo uplinks, each pairing an RJ-45 connection with an SFP cage that shares the same logical port. Copper and fiber cannot operate simultaneously within one pair. MGBSX1 supports Gigabit multimode fiber, while MGBLX1 supports Gigabit single-mode fiber; specify the optic by PID.
SRW208P-K9 supports static IPv4 routing between VLANs when configured for Layer 3 operation. Routing is static rather than dynamically learned, so the network design must provide the required routes explicitly. STP/RSTP/MSTP controls bridged topology, while LACP groups links; neither function replaces the routing configuration between separate IP networks.
SRW208P-K9 is a desktop switch measuring 279.4 mm wide, 44.45 mm high and 170 mm deep, with a weight of 1.21 kg. Its narrow chassis is not a full-width 19-inch enclosure. Include the intended mounting arrangement and required mounting hardware when specifying the order contents.
SRW208P-K9 uses an external AC adapter with a 100-240V AC input, 50-60 Hz frequency range and 2A input specification. Maximum switch consumption with PoE loading is 82.1W. Confirm that the supplied adapter and regional power connection are included in the order rather than assuming an internal AC supply.
SRW208P-K9 replaces the older SRW208P configuration through regional ordering variants. SRW208P maps to SRW208P-K9-NA, while SRW208P-AU, SRW208P-EU and SRW208P-UK map to their corresponding regional K9 variants. Match the complete regional identifier when maintaining an existing equipment list, because the older and newer identifiers are not interchangeable names.
SRW208P-K9 supplies PoE to its access ports, whereas SRW208G-K9 has non-PoE access ports. Both configurations belong to the retired Cisco 300 Series. For legacy equipment matching, the powered model serves compatible Ethernet-powered endpoints, while the non-PoE model corresponds to endpoints supplied through their own adapters or other power arrangements.
SRW208P-K9 specifies a 2A external-adapter AC input, whereas SRW208MP-K9 specifies a 2.5A external-adapter AC input. Both models are discontinued. For legacy replacement matching, SRW208P-K9 corresponds to the standard powered configuration, while SRW208MP-K9 corresponds to the maximum-power configuration; keep the correct adapter associated with the selected hardware.
SRW208P-K9 has eight Fast Ethernet PoE access ports, whereas SRW224G4P-K9 has 24 Fast Ethernet PoE access ports. Both are discontinued Cisco 300 Series models. When matching a legacy installation, the smaller configuration corresponds to a compact endpoint group, while the 24-port configuration corresponds to a larger set of powered connections.
