CBS110-8T-D-NA is a fanless, unmanaged Layer 2 desktop switch with eight 10/100/1000 copper Ethernet ports. Connections to the upstream network use the same fixed copper interfaces as endpoint connections; there are no dedicated uplinks or optical cages. The Cisco Business 110 Series serves small offices, workgroups, and departments that need Ethernet switching without configuration. Each connection automatically negotiates speed and duplex, allowing Fast Ethernet equipment and Gigabit devices to connect at their supported rates. Unlike CBS110-8PP-D-NA, which supplies PoE on four ports with a shared 32W budget, this model does not deliver endpoint power. Workstations, printers, and separately powered network devices therefore fit its connection model, while powered endpoints need their own power source. The compact enclosure can sit beside office equipment rather than requiring a full-width equipment rack.
CBS110-8T-D-NA price for new stock is $121.83. CBS110-8T-D-NA refurb price is $113.88. CBS110-8T-D-NA is in stock and available for next-day dispatch. (terms applied)

16 Gbps switching capacity provides nonblocking forwarding across the copper interfaces. 11.9 Mpps forwarding at 64-byte packet size identifies the packet-processing rate for traffic sizing. CBS110-8T-D-NA shares a 2 Mbit packet buffer dynamically across its ports rather than reserving that capacity for a single connection. An 8000-entry MAC address table holds learned Ethernet destinations. Four hardware queues support automatic priority handling, using 802.1p priority, priority queuing, and Weighted Round-Robin. Store-and-forward operation rejects damaged packets before forwarding them, while support for 9216-byte jumbo frames accommodates larger Ethernet frames on compatible networks. Automatic MDI/MDI-X handles straight-through and crossover connection requirements. Energy Efficient Ethernet places links into a low-power state during quiet periods. 4.33W maximum power consumption provides the upper published figure for electrical planning. The external universal adapter accepts 100–240V AC, and the operating temperature range is 0°C to 50°C.
ORM Systems offers CBS110-8T-D-NA in New sealed or Certified refurbished condition; refurbished units are inspected and bench-tested, including rated-speed links on every port and verification that the supplied adapter delivers rated output. Specify the condition and required quantity on the purchase order. Cisco's limited lifetime hardware warranty is separate from ORM's up to 3-year extended warranty on new units and up to 1 year on certified refurbished units; returns cover every condition for 30 days, terms apply. Enterprise and volume purchases accept POs, government buyers receive Net-30 terms, and RMA includes advance replacement, with regional stock and RMA across the UK, EU, US, and MEA.

When an office adds copper-connected workstations and printers, the cabling order matters alongside switch quantity. Category 5e or better Ethernet cable is required, and each computer needs a compatible network interface. Include the required cable lengths and endpoint connections in the branch bill of materials before placing the purchase order.
When a rollout spans the United States, Canada, Mexico, or Latin American offices, CBS110-8T-D-NA identifies the regional ordering version for those destinations. Keep that complete identifier on each site's equipment list rather than substituting an unsuffixed model name. Confirm destination countries and regional power arrangements before approving the consolidated order.
When a staging bench needs automatic copper connection checks, cable diagnostics identify cable faults or shorts, while loop detection helps expose accidental network loops. CBS110-8T-D-NA provides both functions automatically. Prepare acceptance checks around the intended patch leads and connection behavior, then specify the bench quantity and cabling checks before ordering.
Power delivery to connected endpoints
CBS110-8T-D-NA does not supply PoE. CBS110-8PP-D-NA powers four ports from a shared 32W budget; size each endpoint's demand before selecting the powered model.
Direct fiber uplinks
CBS110-8T-D-NA has copper Ethernet ports without SFP cages. CBS110-24T-NA provides two Gigabit SFP combo connections and increases the number of copper connections.

CBS110-8T-D-NA identifies an eight-port Gigabit desktop switch in the Cisco Business 110 Series. CBS110 identifies the family, 8T corresponds to eight 10/100/1000 copper ports, D denotes desktop construction, and NA identifies the regional version for the United States, Canada, Mexico, and other Latin American markets.
The Cisco Business 110 Series operates without configuration because these switches are unmanaged. Ports automatically select speed and duplex, while traffic prioritization, loop detection, and cable diagnostics run automatically. Connect compatible Ethernet devices and supply power; no switch configuration step is required before normal switching begins.
Cisco has not announced an end-of-sale date for Cisco Business 110 Series Unmanaged Switches. CBS110-8T-D-NA belongs to the available Cisco Business range, not the retired Small Business 110 generation. Discontinuation dates associated with older switches do not establish an end-of-sale date for this replacement model.
New sealed and Certified refurbished CBS110-8T-D-NA units are offered by ORM Systems, with Cisco's limited lifetime hardware warranty separate from ORM's coverage. ORM provides up to a 3-year extended warranty on new units and up to 1 year on certified refurbished units. Returns cover every condition for 30 days; terms apply.
CBS110-8T-D-NA replaces discontinued SG110D-08-NA and SF110D-08-NA desktop switches. SG110D-08-NA reached end of sale on October 30, 2021, while SF110D-08-NA reached end of sale on January 29, 2023. Those retirement milestones belong to the older products rather than the replacement switch being ordered.
CBS110-8T-D-NA supplies no PoE, whereas CBS110-8PP-D-NA supplies PoE on four of its eight ports from a shared 32W budget. Both provide eight Gigabit copper connections. Choose the non-PoE model for independently powered equipment; specify the powered model when endpoint demand fits its shared budget.
CBS110-8T-D-NA uses an external universal power adapter, whereas CBS110-16T-NA contains an internal universal supply. Both accept 100–240V AC. Buyers standardizing on an external adapter can retain the desktop model; installations requiring the power supply inside the enclosure should specify the internally powered model.
CBS110-8T-D-NA provides eight Gigabit copper ports, while CBS110-5T-D-NA provides five. Both are desktop models without endpoint PoE delivery. The eight-port version accommodates more cable connections in one enclosure; the five-port version suits equipment lists that fit within its smaller connection count, including the upstream connection.
CBS110-8T-D-NA connects upstream through its standard Gigabit copper ports and has no dedicated uplink ports or SFP cages. An upstream cable occupies one of the available connections. Specify copper connectivity at the other end rather than ordering an optical transceiver or removable uplink card.
CBS110-8T-D-NA supports desktop placement and wall mounting, not direct rack mounting. Its enclosure measures 160 mm wide, 104 mm deep, and 30 mm high, with a weight of 0.43 kg. Confirm the intended placement and included mounting accessories before preparing the equipment location.
CBS110-8T-D-NA provides 16 Gbps switching capacity and forwards 11.9 million packets per second with 64-byte packets. Switching is nonblocking, and a shared 2 Mbit packet buffer serves all ports. Use both bandwidth and packet-rate figures when assessing the traffic expected at the switch.
CBS110-8T-D-NA has a maximum published power consumption of 4.33W at 220V AC; the corresponding 110V figure is 4.25W. The external universal adapter accepts 100–240V AC. These figures cover the switch itself because this non-PoE model does not supply electrical power to connected endpoints.
The Cisco Business 110 Series automatically prioritizes traffic using 802.1p priority and four hardware queues. Priority queuing and Weighted Round-Robin provide the queue-handling methods. These functions operate without configuration, so buyers receive automatic traffic handling rather than a switch requiring a manually configured traffic-priority policy.
