SG350X-48-K9 combines 48 non-PoE Gigabit access ports with four fixed 10G uplinks in a managed Layer 2+ switch for small-business networks. Two uplinks are dedicated SFP+ cages; the other two offer shared 10GBASE-T/SFP+ interfaces for copper or fiber connections. The Cisco 350X Series provides hardware stacking rather than grouping separately managed devices, so a stack operates through a unified control and data plane. A rack-mount 1U chassis houses the internal AC supply and one cooling fan. The discontinued SG350X-48P-K9-NA adds powered access ports rather than enabling endpoint power through software. The Cisco SG350X-48 configuration serves access connections where attached equipment has its own power source.
SG350X-48-K9 price for new stock is $720.30, a 72.6% saving from the Cisco list price of $2,632.94. SG350X-48-K9 refurb price is $336.00. SG350X-48-K9 is in stock and available for next-day dispatch. (terms applied)

176 Gbps switching capacity accommodates traffic across the access and uplink interfaces. 130.94 Mpps forwarding establishes the packet-processing ceiling for 64-byte Ethernet frames. 990 IPv4 routes bound the static forwarding table; dynamic routing is not available. SG350X-48-K9 carries 512 MB of DRAM and 256 MB of flash for the embedded software and saved configuration. The 16000-entry MAC table maintains learned endpoint addresses, while a dynamically shared 3 MB packet buffer accommodates traffic bursts across ports. STP, RSTP and MSTP provide loop-control options, and LACP supports aggregated links. Local administration uses an HTTP/HTTPS browser interface or the console CLI, with SSH and Telnet available for remote CLI sessions. SNMP provides monitoring integration without requiring interactive configuration sessions. 51.6W worst-case system draw is the electrical load to allocate for the unit when sizing rack power.
ORM Systems offers SG350X-48-K9 new sealed with up to a 3-year extended warranty or certified refurbished with up to 1 year; every condition has 30-day returns, terms apply. Certified refurbished units are inspected and bench-tested for power-on, POST, clean boot, rated-speed links on every port and optics bay recognition; firmware is verified and configurations are wiped to factory default. Specify condition, region and quantity on the PO; Cisco's eligible limited lifetime hardware warranty and service end October 31, 2026. Enterprise and volume orders can use POs, Net-30 for government, and RMA with advance replacement across UK, EU, US and MEA.

When separate user groups need gateways on the access switch, the limit of 128 IPv4 interfaces determines how many routed interfaces can be configured. Count gateways across physical ports, link aggregation groups, VLANs and loopbacks, then specify the interface plan before issuing the PO.
When a replacement must be validated against an existing traffic pattern before installation, port mirroring can direct eight source ports to one destination port for capture. Reserve the analyzer connection and identify the source interfaces in the staging plan before ordering.
When several locations require repeatable configurations, dual firmware images support a staged software workflow alongside text-editable configuration files and secure SCP downloads. Separate common settings from site-specific changes, then specify the configuration transfer method and image-staging requirements before releasing the hardware order.
PoE-powered phones or access points
SG350X-48-K9 supplies no endpoint power over Ethernet. C1300-48P-4X provides a current 48-port Gigabit PoE alternative with four 10G SFP+ uplinks; size its endpoint power allocation separately.
Cisco support beyond October 2026
SG350X-48-K9 reaches its last date of support on October 31, 2026. Specify C1300-48T-4X when the purchase requires a current successor rather than discontinued hardware.
Dynamic routing at the access edge
SG350X-48-K9 supports static routing, not dynamic route exchange. Networks requiring automatic route learning need a switch with dynamic routing support; changing this model's configuration does not add that capability.

SG350X-48-K9 identifies a 350X Gigabit stackable switch with 48 access ports and the K9 encryption designation. Regional ordering adds a suffix: SG350X-48-K9-NA is a North American form, while SG350X-48-K9-EU and SG350X-48-K9-UK identify other regional versions. The unsuffixed catalog PID does not identify a region.
SG350X-48-K9 is managed through an HTTP/HTTPS web interface, console CLI, SSH, Telnet, SNMP and Smart Network Application. FindIT Network Manager, an embedded FindIT Network Probe and Active Advisor provide additional monitoring or management integration. The web interface includes simple and advanced modes; the CLI supports scripting and menu-based operation.
SG350X-48-K9 is discontinued: end of sale was October 30, 2021, and the last date of support is October 31, 2026. Software maintenance ended October 30, 2022. The first replacement, CBS350-48T-4X-NA, is also discontinued; C1300-48T-4X is the current model at the end of that replacement chain.
ORM Systems offers SG350X-48-K9 new sealed with up to a 3-year extended warranty or certified refurbished with up to 1 year. Returns are available for 30 days on every condition; terms apply. Cisco's limited lifetime hardware warranty remains subject to eligibility and ends with Cisco support on October 31, 2026.
SG350X-48-K9 replaces discontinued SF550X-48-K9-AR, SF550X-48-K9-AU, SF550X-48-K9-BR, SF550X-48-K9-EU, SF550X-48-K9-NA and SF550X-48-K9-UK regional models, which reached end of sale June 18, 2020. In China, SG350X-48-K9-CN also replaced discontinued SF550X-48-K9-CN and SG250X-48-K9-CN; the latter reached end of sale June 5, 2020. These replacement relationships are regional, so match the complete ordering form.
SG350X-48-K9 provides four 10G uplink interfaces: two dedicated SFP+ ports and two 10GBASE-T/SFP+ combo ports. Each combo interface operates through copper or its shared SFP+ cage, not both simultaneously. SFP-10G-SR= and SFP-10G-LR= are supported optical choices; specify the required transceivers separately from the switch.
A Cisco 350X hardware stack contains four members at maximum, including a mix of SG350X, SG350XG and SX350X switches. Stack interconnections use 10G copper or fiber interfaces in ring or chain arrangements. SFP-H10GB-CU1M=, SFP-H10GB-CU3M= and SFP-H10GB-CU5M= provide supported short copper connection options; reserve the corresponding interfaces.
SG350X-48-K9 supports static IPv4 and IPv6 routing, not dynamic routing. The limits are 990 IPv4 routes with 128 IPv4 interfaces and 245 IPv6 routes with 106 IPv6 interfaces. Routed interfaces can be physical ports, link aggregation groups, VLAN interfaces or loopbacks; these limits govern gateway placement and subnet count.
SG350X-48-K9 uses an internal universal AC supply accepting 100-240V AC at 47-63 Hz. Worst-case system draw is 51.6W at 110V and 51.4W at 220V. The fixed supply does not provide an internal redundant PSU arrangement; allow for the switch's electrical load when sizing rack power.
Cisco SG350X-48 occupies 1U in a standard equipment rack and includes a mounting kit. The chassis measures 440 mm wide, 44 mm high and 257 mm deep, with a weight of 3.73 kg. One fan provides active cooling, and operating temperature is 0°C to 50°C.
SG350X-48P-K9-NA adds 48 PoE+ access ports and a shared 382W power budget, whereas SG350X-48-K9 supplies no endpoint power. Both models are discontinued. For an existing installation, the non-PoE model matches independently powered equipment; the PoE model matches a design that delivers power through network cabling.
SG350X-48-K9 provides 48 Gigabit access ports, while SG350X-24-K9-NA provides 24. Both retain four 10G uplink interfaces and both are discontinued. The larger model matches an existing 48-port access requirement; the smaller model matches a 24-port requirement when maintaining the same legacy family.
C1300-48T-4X has four 10G SFP+ uplinks; SG350X-48-K9 combines two dedicated SFP+ ports with two 10GBASE-T/SFP+ combo ports. The discontinued legacy model accommodates copper uplink requirements in existing installations; the current C1300-48T-4X suits new purchases standardized on four SFP+ connections after the discontinued CBS350-48T-4X-NA.
