C9300 is the series prefix, 48 is the access-port count, S identifies the SFP configuration, and E indicates Network Essentials. The part number contains no fixed-uplink count or speed segment.
Catalyst 9300 is managed through WebUI, CLI over SSH, the RJ-45 console or USB mini-Type B console; Cisco Catalyst Center requires appropriate subscription entitlements.
