Technical Details
256 Gbps switching capacity and 190.47 Mpps forwarding support access-layer aggregation without using the StackWise-480 backplane figure as a port-speed substitute. 736 Gbps stacked switching applies when the Catalyst 9300 modular uplink model joins a StackWise-480 stack. 437W PoE budget is available from the default PWR-C1-715WAC-P, so full 48-port PoE+ draw requires power sizing beyond the base supply. C9300-48P-A supports 32000 MAC entries, 32000 IPv4 routes, 1000 SVIs and 4094 VLAN IDs. Network Advantage enables BGP, EIGRP, HSRP, IS-IS, OSPF, VRF, VXLAN, LISP, Cisco TrustSec, MPLS, NETCONF, RESTCONF, gRPC, YANG, GuestShell and MACsec-256. No fixed SFP, SFP+ or QSFP uplinks are installed in the base system.
