Technical Details
580 Gbps switching capacity and 431.54 Mpps forwarding provide the standalone limits for traffic sizing. 490W of shared PoE is available with PWR-C1-1100WAC-P, so powered-device allocations must fit the installed supply configuration. OSPF, EIGRP, BGPv4, and IS-ISv4 support advanced unicast routing. C9300-48UXM-A uses UADP 2.0 forwarding silicon and a 32 MB packet buffer within the Catalyst 9000 family. The hardware supports 32000 MAC entries and 32000 total IPv4 entries, including direct and indirect routes; the indirect-route subset is not an additional allocation. The platform does not accept the 100G uplink modules intended for Catalyst 9300X.
