C9300X-24Y-A carries 16 GB of DRAM and 16 GB of flash for Cisco IOS XE operation and image storage. A separate 32 MB packet buffer holds queued traffic rather than application data. UADP 2.0sec handles forwarding, and MACsec-256 supports encryption on compatible Ethernet links.
