C9350-48U is a 48-port Gigabit UPOE access switch providing Layer 3 forwarding and 60W capability per powered port for cameras, access-control devices, sensors, and intelligent lighting. The 1U rack chassis belongs to the Cisco C9350 Series Smart Switches and combines fixed copper downlinks with an empty modular uplink bay, not built-in fiber uplinks. C9350-NM-2C provides two 100G connections, C9350-NM-8Y provides eight 25G or four 50G connections, and C9350-NM-8M provides eight Multigigabit copper connections. The hardware order leaves Cisco Switching Essentials or Cisco Switching Advantage to the separate license configuration. Compared with the 30W-per-port C9350-48P, this model accommodates endpoints requiring the higher UPOE per-port power class; the installed power supplies still determine the shared endpoint allocation.
C9350-48U price is $10,055.85. C9350-48U is in stock and available for next-day dispatch. (terms applied)

496 Gbps switching capacity provides the standalone bandwidth ceiling, while 369.024 Mpps forwarding rate is the packet-rate reference for traffic sizing. 625W of shared PoE power with the default PWR-C2-850WAC-I requires aggregate endpoint allocation rather than simultaneous maximum loading on every port. OSPF supports 1000 routes under Cisco Switching Essentials, alongside RIP, EIGRP Stub, PBR, VRRP, and PIM Stub Multicast. C9350-48U uses 16 GB DRAM and 18 GB flash for its control plane and software storage. The 192000-route IPv4 hardware ceiling remains separate from the Essentials OSPF allowance. NETCONF and RESTCONF enable model-driven configuration, while streaming telemetry exports selected operational data. Application hosting requires Cisco Switching Advantage; application hosting is not part of the Essentials feature set. Three C9350-FAN-I= fan modules provide N+1 cooling with front-to-back airflow, so the chassis requires an unobstructed intake and exhaust path.
Specify C9350-48U in new sealed or certified refurbished condition, with the required uplink configuration, power accessories, and license entitlement on the PO. Refurbished units are inspected and bench-tested; PoE output is verified under load on every powered port, firmware is verified, and configuration is wiped to factory default. New units carry up to a 3-year extended ORM warranty, certified refurbished units up to 1 year, and every condition has 30-day returns, terms apply; Cisco's separate original-owner Limited Lifetime Warranty is limited to five years after a discontinuance announcement. Enterprise and volume orders support PO acceptance, government Net-30, and RMA with advance replacement across UK, EU, US, and MEA.

When an endpoint rollout requires higher aggregate power, the electrical feed changes the capacity of PWR-C2-1600WAC-I: 1600W at 230V, but 1200W at 115V. Treat a supply upgrade and its input circuit as one purchase decision, and specify the site voltage before selecting additional supplies.
Where existing racks have restricted rear clearance, adding PWR-C2-1600WAC-I changes the installed depth to 501 mm, beyond the chassis-only dimension. Rear cable access and power-supply removal must fit the cabinet rather than only the mounting rails, so confirm usable depth before specifying the upgraded supply.
When a wiring-closet expansion also shares power between chassis, StackPower+ forms a four-switch ring rather than following the complete data-stack membership. Specify CAB-SPWR-35CM= or CAB-SPWR-100CM= according to physical spacing, and separate the power-sharing topology from the data connections on the purchase order.
Multigigabit speeds on fixed downlinks
C9350-48U fixed copper downlinks stop at 1G. C9350-48HX provides 48 Multigigabit downlinks reaching 10G, so faster endpoint connections require a different hardware model.
90W power at each endpoint
C9350-48U is limited to 60W UPOE per port. C9350-48HX supports 90W UPOE+ and Multigigabit downlinks; its aggregate endpoint allocation still depends on installed supplies.
Four 100G uplinks per chassis
C9350-48U supports C9350-NM-2C, not C9350-NM-4C. C9350-48HX accepts C9350-NM-4C for four 100G uplinks and also changes the fixed copper downlinks to Multigigabit.

C9350-48U identifies a C9350 smart switch with 48 Gigabit copper ports and 60W UPOE capability per port: C9350 names the series, 48 is the access-port count, and U identifies the UPOE model. Licensing is selected separately; this hardware PID does not designate Essentials or Advantage.
C9350-48U supports local console and SSH CLI, a web UI, NETCONF/RESTCONF automation, Cisco Catalyst Center, and the Meraki dashboard. Cloud-sourced configuration provides a read-only cloud CLI, while device-sourced configuration allows read/write cloud CLI access. Choose the configuration owner before onboarding the switch.
C9350-48U provides 625W of shared PoE power with its default PWR-C2-850WAC-I, while each of its 48 ports supports 60W UPOE. Two PWR-C2-850WAC-I supplies raise available PoE power to 1475W. The 2880W all-port ceiling requires a higher-capacity supply configuration; that ceiling is not the default allocation.
C9350-48U has no fixed fiber uplinks and ships without an uplink module. C9350-NM-2C adds two 100G/40G ports, C9350-NM-8Y adds eight 25G/10G/1G ports or four 50G ports, and C9350-NM-8M adds eight Multigigabit copper ports. Specify the module and compatible optical connectivity separately.
C9350 switches form eight-member StackWise-1.6T data stacks at 1.6 Tbps, using other C9350 switches with the same license level. Select STACK-T1A-50CM=, STACK-T1A-1M=, or STACK-T1A-3M= for data connections. StackPower+ is a separate power-sharing arrangement and does not increase the permitted data-stack membership.
C9350-48U supports RIP, EIGRP Stub, OSPF up to 1000 routes, PBR, VRRP, and PIM Stub Multicast with Cisco Switching Essentials. Its 192000-route IPv4 hardware capacity does not remove that OSPF limit. Specify the software entitlement against the required routing design.
C9350-48U uses Cisco Switching Essentials LIC-CS-AC1-L-E or Cisco Switching Advantage LIC-CS-AC1-L-A through Cisco Networking Subscription or an Enterprise Agreement. A new Cisco Networking Subscription requires at least 36 months. The hardware PID does not include a tier suffix, so the license must be specified separately.
No, C9350-48U continues its on-device OS functionality after subscription expiration because switching licenses do not enforce a forwarding shutdown. Meraki dashboard and Catalyst Center management and monitoring become restricted, and subscription-provided support is unavailable. Continuing platform management and support therefore requires an active entitlement.
Cisco has not announced an end-of-sale date for C9350. C9350-48U supports Cisco IOS XE with cloud and on-premises management options. A hardware order still needs its own license and support selections; lifecycle status does not establish the software entitlement attached to an individual unit.
C9350-48U is a migration option for discontinued WS-C3850-48U and for C9300-48U in a 48-port UPOE access role. Existing stacking connections require STACK-T1A-50CM=, STACK-T1A-1M=, or STACK-T1A-3M= rather than earlier-generation cables. Confirm the new stack membership and licensing configuration instead of carrying forward the previous accessory order.
C9350-48U supports 60W UPOE per port, while C9350-48P supports 30W PoE+ per port. Both provide 48 fixed Gigabit access ports. The higher per-port allowance suits endpoints exceeding 30W; the 30W model suits lower-draw PoE+ devices, with either purchase still requiring aggregate power sizing.
C9350-48U ships with PWR-C2-850WAC-I, whereas C9350-48T ships with PWR-C2-500WAC-I. The 850W supply supports the UPOE configuration; the 500W supply accompanies the data-only configuration. Choose the UPOE model when powering endpoints and the data-only model when endpoints have their own power sources.
C9350-48U provides 48 Gigabit UPOE access ports, while C9350-24U provides 24. Both retain the same 60W per-port power class. Select the 48-port chassis when the endpoint schedule requires the higher connection count, or the 24-port chassis when fewer connections are required.
No, C9350-48U ships with one PWR-C2-850WAC-I and has three internal power-supply bays, leaving two available for optional supplies. Redundancy is not included as a second installed supply. Select additional supplies for the required PoE allocation and failure tolerance rather than assuming all bays are populated.
ORM offers C9350-48U new sealed with up to a 3-year extended warranty or certified refurbished with up to 1 year. Both conditions include 30-day returns, terms apply. Cisco's separate Limited Lifetime Warranty applies to the original owner and is limited to five years after a discontinuance announcement.
