SF350-48P-K9-NA combines 48 Fast Ethernet PoE+ access ports with four fixed Gigabit uplinks in a managed, Layer 2+ rack-mount switch. Two uplinks are dedicated SFP connections; two are copper/SFP combo connections, with either medium active on each combo port. The Cisco 350 Series Managed Switches serve small-business networks connecting phones, wireless access points and surveillance endpoints. This 1U model retains 10/100 access speeds rather than providing Gigabit connections to every endpoint. The discontinued SF350-48MP-K9-NA increases the shared PoE budget to 740W for installations requiring a different power allocation.

17.6 Gbps switching capacity and 13.09 Mpps forwarding at 64-byte packet size define the switching throughput. 382W of shared PoE power requires allocation across connected devices rather than simultaneous maximum output on every powered port. Static routing supports local subnet communication, while PBR directs selected traffic to specified next hops. The IPv4 routing limit is 990 static routes. SF350-48P-K9-NA carries 512 MB of DRAM, 256 MB of flash and a dynamically shared 3 MB packet buffer. STP/RSTP/MSTP provide spanning-tree control, and LACP supports aggregated links. The SF350-48P uses an internal AC supply; 464.3W maximum consumption provides the electrical-load figure for circuit planning. Three fans cool the chassis, so procurement specifications should not describe this model as fanless.
SF350-48P-K9-NA is offered new sealed or certified refurbished, with ORM warranty coverage of up to a 3-year extended term for new units or up to 1 year for refurbished units; 30-day returns apply to every condition, subject to terms. Certified refurbished units are inspected and bench-tested, with every powered port tested under load, optics recognition checked, firmware verified and configurations wiped to factory default. Specify the condition, quantity and required accessories on your purchase order. ORM Systems accepts POs, provides Net-30 for government and RMA with advance replacement, and supports regional stock/RMA across the UK, EU, US and MEA for enterprise and volume orders.

When a phone or surveillance replacement includes higher-draw devices, eight access ports can supply 60W while the remaining powered access ports support 30W. Treat endpoint wattage as an allocation requirement rather than a port-count entitlement, and specify the required powered-port map before the PO.
When several branches need a common configuration baseline, the managed image accepts text-editable configuration files and separates CLI access into privilege levels 1, 7 and 15. Define administrator roles and the configuration template before quoting repeated units, then specify the required staging process on the PO.
When replacement hardware must be prepared before shipment to a site, dual firmware images support image staging, and the USB interface transfers configuration or image files locally. Establish the intended firmware image and saved configuration in the lab, then specify the staging requirements with the order.
Gigabit connections to every endpoint
SF350-48P-K9-NA limits access links to 100 Mbps. C1300-48P-4G provides 48 Gigabit Ethernet PoE access ports and four 1G SFP uplinks, retaining the same access-port density.
10G uplinks to distribution
SF350-48P-K9-NA provides only fixed 1G uplinks. C1300-48P-4X supplies four 10G SFP+ uplinks with 48 Gigabit Ethernet PoE access ports, also changing the endpoint speed class.

SF350-48P-K9-NA identifies the 350 family's Fast Ethernet model with 48 powered access ports and the NA regional ordering suffix. The P configuration provides PoE+; NA covers the United States, Canada, Mexico and specified Latin American markets. The complete identifier selects the regional version rather than a different access-speed configuration.
SF350-48P-K9-NA supports a web UI over HTTP/HTTPS, Textview CLI through the console or SSH/Telnet, and SNMP versions 1, 2c and 3. Cisco FindIT Network Manager and Cisco Active Advisor provide additional management paths. Specify the intended management method and administrator access settings during staging.
SF350-48P-K9-NA is discontinued: end of sale was January 29, 2023, and Cisco support ends January 31, 2028. Software maintenance ended January 29, 2024. Its immediate replacement, CBS350-48P-4G-NA, is also discontinued; the forward migration chain now ends at C1300-48P-4G.
ORM Systems offers SF350-48P-K9-NA new sealed with up to a 3-year extended warranty or certified refurbished with up to 1 year. Both conditions have 30-day returns; terms apply. Cisco's separate limited lifetime hardware warranty is subject to eligibility and bounded by January 31, 2028, the last support date.
SF350-48P-K9-NA is the named replacement for SF300-48PP-K9-NA, the older 48-port Fast Ethernet PoE+ managed switch with Gigabit uplinks. Both generations are discontinued. For an existing installation, compare the required configuration and endpoint power allocation before specifying replacement stock rather than treating the two identifiers as interchangeable.
SF350-48P-K9-NA provides a 382W shared PoE budget, whereas SF350-48MP-K9-NA provides 740W across the same 48-port Fast Ethernet access configuration. Both models are discontinued. The lower-budget model suits an existing installation with a smaller aggregate endpoint load; the higher-budget variant accommodates a larger power allocation.
SF350-48P-K9-NA has 48 Fast Ethernet PoE+ access ports, while SF350-24P-K9-NA has 24; both provide four Gigabit uplinks and are discontinued. The 48-port configuration suits an existing installation requiring more endpoint connections per chassis, while the 24-port configuration serves a smaller connection requirement.
C1300-48P-4G provides 48 Gigabit Ethernet access ports, whereas SF350-48P-K9-NA provides 48 Fast Ethernet access ports. C1300-48P-4G is the current endpoint of the replacement chain. The discontinued SF350 model serves like-for-like legacy replacement requirements; the Catalyst 1300 model addresses buyers requiring Gigabit connections to endpoints.
The 350 Fast Ethernet PoE+ switch provides two dedicated 1G SFP uplinks and two Gigabit copper/SFP combo uplinks. Each combo connection uses one medium at a time. Compatible optics include MGBSX1 for multimode fiber and MGBLX1 for single-mode fiber; specify the transceiver PID and fiber medium when ordering.
SF350-48P-K9-NA supports static IPv4 routing with a limit of 990 routes, plus PBR for selected next-hop policies. Routed interfaces can use physical ports, link aggregation groups, VLAN interfaces or loopback interfaces. Size the route set and interface design before ordering this Layer 2+ configuration for local subnet communication.
The SF350-48P is a Rack-Mount 1U switch measuring 440 mm wide, 44 mm high and 350 mm deep. The chassis weighs 5.59 kg. Allow for these dimensions and rear cable routing when specifying mounting space, rack placement and delivery handling for an installation or replacement order.
The 350 Series Managed Switches operate as standalone switches rather than a hardware stack. Network-management tools can administer multiple devices, but centralized administration does not combine their forwarding hardware into one stack. Specify separate uplink connections and individual switch configurations when purchasing multiple units for the same installation.
